BW did a great job untill the last 10 minutes of the game, when they took an arrow to the knee...
Fanbase took one to the heart.

I've got to stop reading this thread. I actually dreamt last night that I was being indoctrinated :/

Did you escape the Indoctrination and go on to destroy the Reapers, your best friend and perhaps love interest at your side?

No I realised the Reaper growling noises were just my husband snoring next to me and woke up.

Aw. Well at least you didn't actually get Indoctrinated, eh?

Or did she only think she escaped indoctrination?

Something that occurred to me just recently is that TIM wants to control the Reapers through the Crucible and so sees preventing the Crucible from docking as the best way to go about using it. I know that he's by no means in his right mind by either theory, and that that kind of circular logic falls in line with the star child's, but I like to think that TIM is extraordinarily smart and he was able to resist somewhat at the end due to a logical argument that Shepard makes(which sort've indicates to me that TIM is still able to reason), and the fact that it would've made infinitely more sense to try to take over the super weapon which he wants to control than block access to it and allow it to be destroyed, is another indicator that the real TIM wasn't actually there.

Adding to the idea of a dream, my Shepard's eyes were a different color on the Citadel. Normally they're a Grey/Blue, however on the Citadel during the conversation with TIM they were Brown. The were Grey again afterwards.

Anytime Grayson did something the Reapers didn't like, there would be a "growl" from them, and they would force their control further on him.  Sorry, I don't own the book to be able to cite it.

I live in (very) rural Alabama, and my best friend from high school lives out in the country where it would literally cost over $100 a month for him to get any kind of decent internet. It's this infatuation with online gaming and the disenchantment with local gaming that has led him to start shunning most games that are made, simply because he can't get the whole experience.

Regardless of what you may feel, you can't just bundle everyone who has the same complaint into a group and dismiss them as a bunch of lowlife hackers. To do so is unnecesary and childish.

Probably a bug. Mine remained the same.

For the love of God, everyone PLEASE start linking the **** out of this thread on her twitter. :U
Even if her acknowledgements are just a PR stunt, we need to keep trying.
I've posted stuff about indoctrination on both hers and Mass Effect's twitter page. Then posted the forum (and stuff about Marauder Shields bahaha) on ME's facebook page.

Hold the line.

One thing we should keep in mind, guys. If they are working on this DLC (which is what it sounds like if you listen to the recent forum posts about input & partnership), if this is something being done from scratch then it's going to need new VO sessions, level design, animation, writing, testing, certification, etc, etc. That is going to take months, at least. So, don't get your hopes up for something soon.

If they are just editing something they already planned, or doing something less detailed (like DA:O stuff) then maybe it'll be out sooner.

Either way, I hope they keep us in the loop. If these recent requests for input are the last we here about it for months, the furor will return.

She's well aware of this thread. She's already linked to it herself as a great explanation for the ending scene.

She's PR. So not a dev, but is responsible for trying to keep us crazy fans under control while also making "yellow legal pad" lists (though I actually think she uses excel haha) of feedback.

(though I personally think yellow legal pads are much more professional :police: )

Beat 2nd play through. If you don't take what star child sez too seriously, and look at your choices literally, its pretty damn silly. You can 1. Grab these handles and electrocute your self 2. Jump in to this beam and disintegrate, Or 3. Shoot these pipes lol

Not only does Shepard shoot the pipes, he walks so close while shooting them that when they explode it literally hits him right in the face.

And there are kids in africa that don't have internet, but that's not what matters here. The game says it needs internet connection for bonus content, you accepted that premise the moment you bought it.

I agree, that excuse of those who dont have internet is stupid. If you can afford a ps3/xbox or even a pc to run this game-which costs 80 bucks with everything- you can afford internet.

There is no excuse as to why you can't afford monthly  internet. Who ever doesn't have internet now is either in the streets, or is living in some poor country. Which btw even poor countries have internet. and for free in some places in asia. No excuses.

Now on to the  ending. It sucks.

I wouldn't, as I only got access a couple of years ago, and it is still pretty terrible. That said, I did expect to have to download some things and to enjoy some aspects of the game. Luckily, it isn't bad for gaming, just slow down speed and transfer caps.

Is anyone here a big Radiohead fan? I was pretty heavily involved in the whole "The King of Limbs Part 2" theorizing around this time last year.

I want to believe. It's just that I've been hurt before. But you guys are giving me hope.
