Is anyone here a big Radiohead fan? I was pretty heavily involved in the whole "The King of Limbs Part 2" theorizing around this time last year.

I want to believe. It's just that I've been hurt before. But you guys are giving me hope.

Hope is what us organics need! Don't falter!

Stand strong,
Stand fast,
Stand together.

We're here to hold the line where no one else will!

When I thought Radiohead would release TKOL Part 2, I neglected friends, family, and academic obligations. It was a dark time.

I'm so glad I have the chance to do it again. Holding the line in Virginia.

Kid: Tell me another story about the Shepard

Stargazer: Did you buy the DLC?

Kid: No....

Stargazer: go to bed

(someone else wrote this but I find it hilarious)

Anyone else notice that Shep's idle animation includes what looks like being startled by a sound, then looking for the source? Just something that's been bothering me...

If the ending is a hallucination, and there's going to be a DLC, free or paid, then Bioware has cheated everyone who bought the game. Why? Because it will mean that they've sold an incomplete product. Not everyone has an internet connection, so not everyone could receive the "true" ending, either.

Sorry, but as bad as the ending is, I don't believe that Bioware would try to pull that crap. It's a little too much.

Ehm dident you need to log on to Origin to make this game work in the first place?

Who here thinks Marauder Shields was part of Shepard's subconscious that was trying to prevent her from having to face the rest of Harbinger's Indoctrination attempt?

Note: I jest, in case anyone thinks I'm serious.

I think the theory is pretty solid thus far. If it's not ''official'' canon, it makes for a good personal interpretation of it.

I've seen some flawed assertions though. The ones about graphics hinting towards it being a dream. Uh. Maybe Bioware just isn't strong in graphics? Especially animations. Some say Shep has a floaty animation when limping. That doesn't say much, because animations have never been Bioware's strong suit. Magical ammo for the pistol you get also doesn't say much: that's more likely to be a gameplay decision.

I'm quickly growing exhausted with BW. When I finished the end of Mass Effect 3, I finished with Synthesis. (with the Indoc Theory though, that's not good?) When I had first heard about this Indoc Theory, I had gotten so excited that I stayed for hours and read this thread. (I couldn't post because my new account had recently been made.) But now, I feel hopeless and exhausted. BW better find a solution fast before I give up. :/

Yes. I've noticed that, though I just assumed it was a typical "I'm idle look at me move around!"

The idle for shep in 2 was stretching / rolling his/her neck. Though I could understand. The walk animation rig on the Normandy looked so uncomfortable in 2.

oh lol, don't even get me started on femshep's casual pansy hands trot in ME3. Drives me crazy. I wish that was a dream.

I've been keeping an eye out for the funny light hearted things going on in the community as well as thinking about all of the other things I enjoyed in the game. (Marauder Shields. Finding out that Troy Baker did the voice acting for Kai Leng. Little fun facts.)

Honestly, I cried. So did many of my friends who played. (My friend cried when Mordin died. I cried at the friendship Liara Goodbye scene. My other friend cried when Anderson died next to him.)

There was a lot of amazing things in ME3. It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty powerful.
I think thats why many of us fight so hard for a new ending. Because the game itself would have been a real pivitol point in the gaming industry if it really delivered the ending well enough.

Yep, they both have rolling shoulders and shifting about, etc., but they are distinctly different animations. I swear that's what it is, she seems to startle, then looks one way, the other, then back again like she's looking for something. I'll try to find video of it.

Gahaha don't get me wrong that was pretty disgusting too. I felt like I was playing FFXIII-2 again. Though I don't think Serah's pansy trot reaches the calibur of Femshep's.

Just sayin, Shep's neck looks broken.

But something as massive a new ending which includes new graphics, sound, voice, animation is NOT going to be free. Expect to PAY.
Plus we are dealing with EA, nothing is free.

If this DLC does happen and provides a good ending to my favorite series. I will buy it.

To anyone holding the line,

Please read/post in this thread for some insight into what is likely going on at BioWare/EA HQ. Show them we won't stand for paying for a game without an ending.

Thanks.
