I'm quickly growing exhausted with BW. When I finished the end of Mass Effect 3, I finished with Synthesis. (with the Indoc Theory though, that's not good?) When I had first heard about this Indoc Theory, I had gotten so excited that I stayed for hours and read this thread. (I couldn't post because my new account had recently been made.) But now, I feel hopeless and exhausted. BW better find a solution fast before I give up. :/

I've been keeping an eye out for the funny light hearted things going on in the community as well as thinking about all of the other things I enjoyed in the game. (Marauder Shields. Finding out that Troy Baker did the voice acting for Kai Leng. Little fun facts.)

Honestly, I cried. So did many of my friends who played. (My friend cried when Mordin died. I cried at the friendship Liara Goodbye scene. My other friend cried when Anderson died next to him.)

There was a lot of amazing things in ME3. It wasn't perfect, but it was pretty powerful.
I think thats why many of us fight so hard for a new ending. Because the game itself would have been a real pivitol point in the gaming industry if it really delivered the ending well enough.

This. Just all of this. Even if the ending is never changed, the rest of the game is amazing, and the ending doesn't change that.

Hopefully we'll have new/extended endings soon, so that the whole thing is great, instead of being awful in the very end.

Anyone else notice that Shep's idle animation includes what looks like being startled by a sound, then looking for the source? Just something that's been bothering me...

really? I never noticed that... I'll have to check it out. It is different then the ME2 animation then?

Yep, they both have rolling shoulders and shifting about, etc., but they are distinctly different animations. I swear that's what it is, she seems to startle, then looks one way, the other, then back again like she's looking for something. I'll try to find video of it.

Please do because I am really curious about this now.

Thanks.

Just a question about indoctrination...
Has anyone ever, in what we have been presented with, successfully freed themselves from indoctrination?
In retribution, Grayson can fight it, but no matter how hard he fights, he eventually succumbs. Granted he wasn't exactly in the best position to fight, with his body riddled with reaper tech, and constantly being pumped with red sand.

My question is, once they start trying to indoctrinate you, do they ever stop? Or is it something that keeps coming back, until you eventually succumb.

Just because Shepard is still alive, and fought off the attack of her mind in the ending doesn't necessarily mean she is free of them.

The more and more I think about it, Shepard either chose synth or control and ended up indoctrinated. Or Shepard chose destroy, and lived, but is going to have to die to avoid becoming a reaper pawn.

Even the great commander shepard can't fight the reapers off indefinitely.

So where do we go from here? Throughout the next year, we will support Mass Effect 3 by working on new content. And we’ll keep listening, because your insights and constructive feedback will help determine what that content should be. This is not the last you’ll hear of Commander Shepard.

say its so !!

To anyone holding the line,

Please read/post in this thread for some insight into what is likely going on at BioWare/EA HQ. Show them we won't stand for paying for a game without an ending.

Thanks.

For sure! That and we have to keep this thread alive, the more posts the better. Remember that Tali thread before ME2? That resulted in her being a LI.

So! Don't. Stop. Holding that line!

That is not yet proven to be a fact. At this point it's looking fairly likely, but there is still some hope that it as not.

And regardless, Indoctrination theory makes more sense anyway, and still works, even if it wasn't their actual plan. Them making it canon would also make it easier (or indeed possible, since it's impossible with those endings being literal) to add more to the end.

But something as massive a new ending which includes new graphics, sound, voice, animation is NOT going to be free. Expect to PAY.
Plus we are dealing with EA, nothing is free.

If this DLC does happen and provides a good ending to my favorite series. I will buy it.

The sarcasm bit has already been done way too many times, but your argument ignores all the free DLC that's been given through Cerberus Network and the one ME1 DLC that was free, as well as DLC that comes free at the start with many of their games. This'll probably be delivered through Alliance Network if it does happen, which means its only paid for those who buy the game used, much like the free Cerberus Network stuff.

I'm not being sarcastic. EA is greedy beyond human belief. I paid for the game so the DLC was not "free"

Oh trust me i believe fully in the indoc theory.. but with chris's latest post it just seems they lost touch with the fanbase completely.  Indoc is literally the ONLY way you can explain this ending,  the plot holes and lore errors are compeltely rediculous to be a "Real" ending..  but i fear they're just going to end it like this,  'whatever loyal fanbase this is the ending, sorry if you didnt like it but its the direction we wanted (artsy)   too bad you spent 80$ on a CE edition only to be "Massively" disapointed.    They have time to win us back but i fear they wont- they'll do DLC that involves story lines within the "Main" ME3 story but totally ignore the ending, theres no motivation for me the consumer to purchase any DLC's if i know the ending is the ending and everything i do in the meantime within the base game and "DLCs" is all in vain and still leads to the inevitable crap ending.
