She can die if certain a requirement isn't met.

Haha. I only lost Mordin, Thane, and Legion. 

Pretty sure those three die in pretty much every scenario. Or, at least, I don't think I could've done anything to prevent their deaths. Maybe dissuaded Legion? But I don't think he'd have listened.

Only lost Mordin, Thane and Legion as well. I think ultimately if you play PURE paragon. (i.e. the best Shepard ever) you don't lose anyone else besides that.

And I want my Tali babies... I know I can't mix with her Dextro dnas... but maybe Liara will be a surrogate and give me... Tali... Shepard... Asari babies. We would raise them on Rannoch and... oh god, this ending. *falls backwards off cliff*

Edit: You can make it so Mordin lives, and Legion as well, but they are pretty messed up renegade option. One of them being renegading Mordin to not fix the Shroud and the other stopping Legion from uploading himself.

Further Edit: Legion isn't -actually- dead, he is now a part of every geth. *tear drop*

So Thane's is the only one that's completely unavoidable? But yeah, those are pretty messed up renegade options. Mordin and Legion deserve the epic endings they received, and their sacrifice bettered the universe for all. They will not be forgotten!

Which reminds me. We're forgetting the sacrifice of dear Marauder Shields!

Do I absolutely need Legion to obtain the quarian / geth ending? I'm assuming I do. I got it in my other save but guhhh.

I tried googling and no luck. If nobody knows the answer I'll make a quick thread. :x

There's a replacement Legion creature, I think its a straight replacement with no catches unlike the Rachni queen.

He's named as "Geth VI". The Mass EFfect wiki says he replaces Legion, so I assume that its physical. Also there's no mention of a betrayal unlike the Rachni queen, so it should be all good.

Well yeah. You figure based on what your shep went through and who is important to him / her Shep will think about different things.

Yes. Except for Shepard taking breath at the end. You probably should read at least some of the theory next time though, or at least play ME3 to the end. Also if you read the article, you will realize that they're largely variations on three endings, which have very similar consequences for everyone.

There's only three endings in my opinion, the rest of it are just technicalities. All of witch we never get to see play out by the way...

All they had to do with Liara have her say something at shepard memorial then before it end it shows her holding a little asari kid hand this is your father commander Shepard savior of the universe...its not that freakin hard bioware/ea story writes itself idiots

The same thing happened to me. Bioware fooled me into thinking that the ending was decent for a couple of days, and they used Clint Mansell to do it. 

Yeah, its like eating chicken McNuggets  with some Beethoven playing in the background. It makes you feel classy and refined like your eating some exotic 3 part meal..but then you realize your eating chicken nuggets and feel robbed of the expierence.

You do realize all but three of those are ever so slight variations to the point where most actually remove one or more of the three right?
