Was the ending a hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory

Also, this doesn't get mentioned enough but take the renegade (lower left not lower right) dialogue with TIM the first time in the Citadel. "Because... I need you to believe." He needs Shepard to believe? The same guy who said to Shepard on Mars, "I don't expect you to understand, and I'm certainly not looking for your approval."? If that doesn't set off every alarm bell you have, then check the batteries in your alarms.

The pop-up at the end just cheapens the experience IMO. I could have done without it. Just don't even let me load the game up, ffs.
Yeah, it was stupid. It's like "Hey, don't forget that this massive experience you've just completed is a game, and that you can buy/download more of it eventually! :D"
It's like, hey. Shut up. You could've told me that at the title screen. Don't pop up right after the end, when I'm still in the process of, well, processing everything.
Completely agree with both of you, the pop-up at the end was extremely tacky and cheap (regardless of its meaning).
I mean I was trying to absorb all this information, I was all emotional, and then bam, pop-up telling me to buy stuff.
Ugh.
Going by the current endings, no one knows what happened to Shepard after s/he passed out on the magic space elevator.
How does one become a legend by dying before the threat is ended, which is what everyone else would think happened? No one but Shepard would know what happened with the godchild.

Space magic dictates they would have figured Shepard solved the problem when the Reapers dropped or flew away into dark space.

A question. Some hope, or news about the rumor of DLC "The Truth"?
I think the ME Twitter account debunked the name, but not specifically any possibility of DLC with similar content.

It seems like BioWare went downhill with DA2, but at least players got a happy ending with their LI. Compared to DA2's outrage, this current one make DA2's outrage seem like nothing.FrozenDreamfall wrote...
@Ona Demonie it is,and I don't know if I should feel bad for Bioware and blame EA or blame both,just...hard to believe the people that made kotor and DAO would do this...well when you change the lead designer you kind of get the idea of what happened. Also my cousin is in PR and she told me this is a suicide attempt for Bioware if they continue like this.At least it raised some funds and brought the BSN community really close,in case you don't count those who fight over loving and hating the end.I don't hate it and I get it,I really do,huge sacrifices have to be made but...their promises to us,the questions left unanswered, all of this screams "bad way to end this series!" And ya,I heard about SWTOR players, did you guys read about the huge number of insane and unjustified bans in the game? Apparently same happens in multiplayer.I read a post a few days ago that made me scared to even touch the multiplayer and just when I started to really like it.
Heck, even PROFESSIONAL writers/english majors say the endings aren't good (but they do list things they liked).

You have to admit, naming it "The Truth" doesn't sound good. 1) It sounds like they lied and lying isn't good for business. 2) It doesn't flow with the ME3 universe. If it was named "The Truth", I would think its Assassin's Creed DLC solely because in AC, the whole game series has been about, well, the truth. 3) Needs a catchy title. Maybe like "Die Another Day" or "Take Back Earth" (I KNOW, I KNOW. Still). Maybe "Darkest Hour".KujaTheDarkOne2 wrote...

Space magic dictates they would have figured Shepard solved the problem when the Reapers dropped or flew away into dark space.
Not a huge leap there to figure if Shepard, already a hero in most people's eyes, was last seen attempting to access the Citadel via the beam, and then ??? minutes later Reapers are exploding or retreating, Shepard did something right.
No one would know exactly what happened, and no one would know about the God child, but yeah, I think it's pretty easy to think that the assumption would be Shepard was responsible for "ending the Reaper threat," whatever that even means.
Not saying the whole "space magic" thing makes any sense, though.

Eh, I'll give it to you, yeah---but somehow I doubt that was the intention when "Shepard has ended the Reaper threat" was written.
It would be cool if it did mean that, though.

The reaper retreat maybe but how does Buzz Aldrin know about the god child if Shepard didn't tell someone?

How do the Reapers get back to darkspace anyway with the relays gone? Do they just fly for tens of thousands of years through space... Well, that's likely an exaggeration.

I think for me it was Hackett telling Shepard that something must be wrong at Shepard's hand... when it clearly states that everybody assumes that the ground forces have been wiped out. Also the under the ruble ending ....

Clearly interspecies sex is suitable for a bedtime story.
Stargazer man is weird.
