I'm thinking we,re slightly miss using space magic, the way I see its more like Edgar Allan Poe's monkey's paw, you get your wish, but horrible sh*t happens as a side effect.

Clearly interspecies sex is suitable for a bedtime story.

Stargazer man is weird.

But stargazer is more canon than the dlc pop up since it happens in a cutscene like the Normandy crash, so it does seem interspecies sex IS suitable for a bedtime story in his messed up dark age space culture.

My husband loves Tali, she's his favorite character and his Shepard's love interest.

He was really excited when Tali gave him a "gift" and he found her picture in his cabin.

I do not have the heart to tell him what I know, which is the picture he saw of her was a photoshopped stock photo.

I just don't have it in me to tell him that. If he finds out, he finds out, but it won't be from me.

Actually, it's an even worse ending than most think with everyone being trapped at Earth and them all starving. The Relays got destroyed.Remember in Arrival, you know... where the destruction of a Relay caused the star system to go boom and killed 300,000... Yeah. Earth has a Relay. And Tuchanka. And... and pretty much every homeworld if I'm remembering this right.Repeat after me. 
EVERYONE IS GONNA ****ING DIE!!!
EVERYTHING SHEPARD DID WILL BE WASTED!!! 

So this was not the ending! (BioWare still have some tricks in their sleeves I hope!)

I feel like most of the ME2 romances got the crap end of the stick. Luckily Garrus' romance was awesome.

While I agree that according to the notes from that ipad app, it seems like speculation was what they wanted, i dont think they wanted speculation to arise simply because of how horribly bad the endings were, so I doubt thats what they wanted us to do.

I made an account on here just so I could join this great discussion. This might be long, but bare with me. I had to wait 24 hours before I could post, so I have a lot to get off of my chest.

Mass Effect has been one of my favorite series hands down. And I went into Mass Effect 3 knowing that I was probably not going to make it out alive. I made peace with that fact, because I figured since I went through all three games making sure I had everything perfect. I went through the first and second games twice just so I could make sure of that...... And then came the ending of Mass Effect 3.

I got a little suspicious after the lazor hit. Because when you get up no one is trying to get in contact with you, and whoever was with you is just gone without a trace. Now, lets just say for the sake of saying. Since this is a game, I guess it doesnt have to make a whole lot of sense. So the best argument I can come up with is this. BioWare had a great story for Mass Effect, amazing even. UNTIL the last few minutes of the game. Now unless EA was rushing them, or they just let someone new wright the ending. I find it hard to believe that they just got horrible at writing right at the end. Now Im not asking for a perfect ending, because to tell you the truth, I didnt want it to end. I would be perfectly okay with them stretching it out a few more game, as long as that kept up with the good story. But this ending just left me depressed. Now if you went through all three games, making bad choices, I understand if it ended with you having to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. But for people that went through the games multiple times, making sure they did everything just right. Yeah, I think it should be a good ending. It should give closure, not leaving you with more questions than you had before the ending. The best ending I can think of, is it shows all of your team members on there home planets helping rebuild. It shows joker and EDI helping with earth. And it shows you with your love intrest on their home planet. But that might just be me.

Now everything points to indoctrination. But then again, the internet can make anything look believable. And maybe I just dont want accept the endings that I got stuck with. But lets look at it like this. We know that BioWare is going to but DLC out. Lets face it, every game has DLC nowadays. So lets look at their options. They can do it for multiplayer, but lets face it, that wont sell as much as DLC would for single player. They could do it like a prequel, but with have been with sheppard and his team from the first. So that wouldnt make much sense. So about their only good option is to release something that takes place after the ending of Mass Effect 3. That pretty much only leaves them with two options. Shep survies and keeps fighting, or he does die and you take over as someone else. Now I have seen people saying that they would be okay with that, but Im not sure if I would. It still would leave way to many questions, and I have grown to attached to sheppard for them just to say "He died, here is someone new to play as."

BioWare has an amazing opportunity right now. They can release DLC that goes with the story, and would make perfect sense. Most DLC today is just new stories that are thrown together fast, and has nothing to do with the main story. BioWare has the chance to make possibly one of the best endings to one of the best game series ever. All we can do is just hope that they will come through for us. I dont some of my best gaming moments to be ruined by a bad ending that felt rushed.
