Enjoy the infiltrator, I'm currently making my ME3 run with one that I imported.  BTW, take the Widow Sniper Rifle on the Collector Ship in ME2.  Trust me kid, you'll thank me later. ;)

I'll remember to do that. Heck, maybe I'll even try out the ME3 multiplayer...

My ME1 Infiltrator had 100% completion in 10 fewer hours than did my Adept. I think it's probably to do with having the wiki planet index open in steam overlay. But on the other hand, power cooldowns used to be a lot more painful than they are now. Then of course in 2 and 3, Infiltrator is just boss. Really want to try it in multiplayer.

The infiltrator is very capable in multiplayer, but he does not have incinerate like in single player.  The human infiltrator gets cryo blast and sticky grenade as his powers in addition to the cloak.

I convinced a friend to drop soldier for the quarian engineer he picked up at random, and we've seen how much fun can be had with cryo. I'd think giving it to the Infil for MP would be to make up for not getting the SP time-dilation effect. I'm just hoping to unlock one and get some small bit of xp before actually trying it out.

Would also help if it'd stop giving me bleeding shotguns.. though that could be fun to bust out of cloak with too, hehe.

Cloak and dagger, I mean shotgun, can also be fun.  The strategy guide actually has a shotgun infiltrator as one of its builds for that class.

First off loving this theory...and have something else that may add some support to the theory in a roundabout way.

I finished my first play thru this morning and managed to avoid spoilers and such...course when I saw the end I was like this

Ok so maybe this just covers a loophole or bad writing but in the codex when discussing FTL it says that:

"If the field collapses while the ship is moving at faster-than-light speeds, the effects are catastrophic. The ship is snapped back to sub light velocity, the enormous excess energy shed in the form of lethal Cherenkov radiation"

So when the Normandy gets pulled out of the "supposed" relay or FTL jump it starts to break apart but then lands on a planet and everyone is ok?!  Shouldn't they all be dead from radiation based on the definition in the codex about FTL?  Just one thing I noticed...can't even say why but it was something that caught my attention. Again just seeing what I can do to support the theory.

Indeed, weird. Also of note, I think, is Conrad's dark energy dissertation which talks about dark energy having the potential to influence the flow of time, and this work being integrated into the Crucible.

Dang misssed that one...gotta play again I guess!

Well, it is almost midnight here, so I should probably get to bed. Keep holding the line people. Also, I've been thinking about those tests, and I'm pretty sure I'm not backwards, make of that what you will Emperor. Anywho, see you guys tomorrow, Keelah Se'lai, and Hold the Line!

Why did someone come into indoctrination thread selling dlc? and why are we talking about multiplayer all of a sudden?

Because all of the doom and gloom is a downer, I didn't sell anything cause I dont know if they'll make the omega dlc or not...some people like to be positive. I'm one of those people and one that thought of Indoctorination while playing the ending. I also posted my interpretation a few pages back so... don't think I just came in here off topic lol

I was being paranoid, should've done the alien smiley lol. Plus I actually see indoctrination theory as a positive, not doom and gloom at all

Its ok, yeah I wasnt really talking about this thread being doom and gloom, its more the other threads floating around, I also just got done reading the Invasion comic with Aria yesterday so its itching me XD

Well, the Revenant is a great weapon, and I actually got the inspiration to equip Garrus with it on my playthrough from a fan fiction, Fight for the Lost, and novelization of ME2.  I currently have Garrus equiped with something else, the Argus, I think, but I might give him back the Revenant.  As for sniper rifle, I'm surprised you have to ask.  Garrus could probably do some serrious damage with a Widow, and he is not bound by pesky weight issues.  Yet another reason why Garrus Vakarian is more awesome than Chuck Norris.

Asked because I don't like to take out the whole group of enemies by myself, makes it feel so solo. I can easily do that with N7 Valiant. If I equipped Garrus with Widow or Mantis, he shoots once, sits behind cover for a good minute and pops up again. By then I think I wiped the battlefield clean for him <_< With Raptor or Indra he shoots pretty often.

Liara however, with N7 Hurricane she tears Cerberus troops apart. Crazy watching her take out Guardians after I soften them up and have them raise their shields with a grenade.

I was looking forward to visiting Omega again in the game but it never happened. A DLC would be fun, a DLC like Shadow Broker with the awesome cutscenes and battles :D

I just figured there would be one because the convo with Aria kind of hints at it. And I saw the artbook, they had a 3d character model of a husk type called an Adjudant thats in the comic. I wanted to visit omega too lol I have a crush on Aria :P

I do not know if this is relevant or not to the theory of the eyes, but if any of you has the Mass Effect art book, at page 86, where they explain about the illusive man design, this comes up:

"A lot of Attention was paid to the implants in his eyes, the intent being to give him a subtly inhuman look"

So to me, this seems purely a design choice... so perhaps all the theories about the eyes could be coincidences?

I saw that I was starting to think it was a coincidence also until I saw their ideas for him in 3. Originally they planned a boss fight with him as transformed into a husk/partly a husk. Which then made me think that perhaps is another clue for the indoctorination theory because we got no TIM boss fight, just a psychological one. In addition to that they made him look like saren so I think "implant" means "reaper implant"

I thought some people mentioned that it happened back when he was Jack Harper according to the books, when he first came in contact with Reaper tech. Its supposed to be long term indoctrination. I don't actually recall blue eyes being codex'd as a sign of indoctrination, but there is a specific eye pattern in common with Saren, TIM, and Shepard in the two non-destroy endings.

I would've been happier if Rainbow Dash gave us the endings. Choose a color would make so much more sense too!

I think maybe 2 weeks or so. They'd want to wait until everyone, not just the die-hards but the everyday gamers to finish the game.

Here's hoping we all hear what we want to......

Second I've seen about Conrad, but never saw mention of him in-game. Whatever the renegade option was for him in 1 and 2 was what I took for me 3 playthrough so that probably has something to do with it. But I don't remember what I did to him. Hah. Seems like in 2 it was something involving feet and bullets...

Anyhow, what's this dark energy dissertation?

Edit:  Oh, and for funsies...  anyone that didn't know that bit of astronomy, remember that black orb in the far distance during the Collector Base mission?  That's the SMBH.  The "shimmering" around it is radiation which is let off when a black hole absorbs light.  That's pretty much what they theorize a black hole looks like.  The idea of black holes as being invisible death traps is an old and inaccurate one.

Edi mentions a energy signal near the edge of the accretion disc. 1:40 www.youtube.com/watch

Yeah, you can shoot his foot as a renegade - it sows some discontent. If you're full paragon with him in previous games, he shows up trying to help you - but as usual, he is a bit misguided. He's in league with Cerberus, following Shep's lead. Anyway, he has a friend - someone from Noveria, who if survived, met Conrad. But they're in ancient asari, so you need all those matriarch's writings from ME1, and the Elkoss Combine license, and another weird little thing. Then he gives you the schematics to help with the Crucible, and decides to work with you. The asset description, however, is "Dr. Conrad Verner's Dark Energy Dissertation." It describes this lengthy and thorough investigation into dark energy by Dr. Conrad Verner, which was hotly debated when first published, but now supported by recent data. But he describes that the buildup of dark energy "has a minute, but empirically observable difference in the passage of time."

The significance is that the Crucible evidentally harnesses or involves dark energy to some extent - the asset description says so.

this video has been posted a few times but i think we should keep reposting since we keep getting new people on the thread. one of the better indoc theory videos on youtube.
