You heard Thane's voice? I romanced Thane and I didn't hear his voice :( Or Legion's for that matter. I heard Ashley's about 100 times though..

Thane's voice can be heard and recognized cause he calls Shepard "siha".
Thats a dead give away.

I'm pretty sure it is random voices of dead squaddies. I hear Ashely throughout most of the first two, and Mordin and Legion the thrid time.

Another quick theory though it wouldn't really fit with the Indocrination theory, what if the Catalyst is really Nazara(I like that name better) he downloaded a portion of himself while connected to the citadel in ME1. Also something that concerns me is the Citadel being the Catalyst that seems like lazy writing to default to the Citadel like a rehash of ME1.

Doesn't anyone else find Shepard's comment about humanity not being ready for reaper tech a little ironic? Galactic civilization is built around Mass Relays that they no one can reproduce. At least two of the space faring civilizations (humanity and the asari) made great technological leaps through the discovery of prothean beacons.

So I've heard that the kid in the dream sequences screams come back here if you start moving in the opposite direction?

Any videos or evidence supporting that? I don't have a save near it so...

what i've tried was walking away; when you do that you get turned around sometimes acompanied by a random "shepard" spoken by on of the companions that have died. when you try it more than two times, you get teleported to the boy and the dream continues. i've heard people claim they hear harbinger say it, but i have not seen any proof to that claim.

Maybe it isnt the Catalyst. We know that the Crucible's design incorporated the use of the Citadel at some point of time but THEN somehow the Prothean VI tells us that the Citadel itself is some sort of Catalyst. It just seems...too easy. The Citadel was always there so it was handy and within reach.
And how would you add another part to the Crucible if it never worked? How would you know what is its purpose or result of activating it?

A whole lot of what Shep says in the end makes no sense.

My Shep has spent all 3 games defending the rights of synthetics whenever she could, never agreeing that synthetics are inherently dangerous, then godchild tells me that if I take destroy, my descendants will eventually create more synthetics, who will turn on their creators, and she goes "Yeah... maybe..."

I dont know who that is, but it cant be my Shep. That goes against one of her core principles.

Not so much it's not Reaper tech he is against its about the Reapers themselves. They are sentient life forms millions of years older and more advanced and TIM wants to control them. That's more stupid then Exogeni studying the Thorian.

I think Casey Hudson just hard coded his Shep/femShep save game into all ME3 copies and makes us play his ending. Because my paragon Shepard would never abandon Liara or not ask about her being alive or dead, not to mention I certainly would not make my beloved asari bookworm turn half digital. *Chose Synthesis <.<*

Ah k, that's probably why I didn't hear him then.. would have made sense to make a dead LI's voice heard though, but Thane's romance was pretty much forgotten by everyone including shepard after he died so i guess i'm not suprised :(

Thane deserved more on screen time but I guess it fits along with his illness.
Many squaddies deserved more screen time. Miranda, Samara, Jacob, Thane, Grunt etc.
basically 90% of ME2 squad mates.

You know who really deserved more screen time?

Morinth.

You literally never see her until the very end, right after you use the Cain to take down the Reaper cannon.

She just appears as a Banshee named Morinth.

No one even comments on it.

I never chose Morinth.. is she tougher than regular banshees or is it just a generic banshee with a different name?

I was kinda bummed when I saw that. Though, at that point in the game I had figured the letter you get at the start was all I'd see/hear from Morinth, so it was a little "OH, thats why she never shows up" moment for me.

I guess Bioware decided most ppl. went with Samara, and didn't waste time adding a role for Morinth. (Putting her in a role @ the monastery like Samara would have been nice, since she did talk about her sisters, but owell)

This is true, but I meant that Shepard suddenly just doesn't care about the fact that her LI just died and no one else even says 'sorry for your loss', not even garrus or liara, not once :(. But i best not get into this discussion, especially seeing as there are threads about it already..

Generic Banshee named Morinth as far as I could tell.

I mean, at least if you dont save Jack from Grissom Academy, when she shows up as a Phantom at TIM's base, she still sounds like herself, and EDI and Shep will comment on it being Jack, but no one even mentions Morinth

Better than nothing I guess.

I knew about the Morinth one from reading up on ways to fight Banshees, but I didn't know about Jack becoming a phantom. How many playthroughs have you done to know all these awesome things?

6 so far. :D

Also, if you gave Legion to Cerberus in ME2 he shows up at TIMs base to fight you.

Yes! This has been mentioned once or twice before, but it's definitely something, and I noticed you don't see the oily figures in the first dream, but you do in the second one..

I think I will pay even more attention to the dream sequence when I play my newly made Adept renegade.
Currently -still- playing on my gf's Sentinel and having a hard time focusing on both forum activity AND playing the game.
