But that makes no sense since the citadel exploded meaning Shep would be vaporized/burned , not taking a breath as in a near death experience from harbinger's laser.That metal support is usually found in buildings or roads which means Shep is on earth.

If Shepard is undergoing Indoctrination from everything after being hit by Harbingers beam, what if it's The Illusive Man's new indoctrination that is trying to take over his/her body, but after paragoning/renegading the hell out of him during said indoctrination (either ending in you shooting him or making him shoot himself), the Reaper's take over the indoctrination attempt. Since the Reapers "control" the illusive man this could be their plan to capture Shepard. This would explain the 3 choices a little differently/clearly (assuming you've unlocked all 3): The blue, control option, represents The Illusive Mans will, the green Synthesis option represents the Reapers will, and the red destroy option represents Shepards will trying to maintain itself.

Something to think about, probably reaching too far though...

might i remind, anyone who may forgotten... that as stated by the codex, that anyone who becomes indoctrinated becomes a hub of indoctrination. so there is nothing different about TIM's, only that he believes he is in control. that is asuming that TIM/Anderson conv. wasn't apart of Shepard's indoctrination (dream).

Indeed, if all that is true, it could mean that most of the crew could be at risk

What i found odd about the 3 choices was how they were displayed.
TIM is clearly a renegade but the control option is display blue instead of red.
Then the destroy option is display as red with Anderson which is clearly a paragon character.
Finally the Starkid says "oh but there is a 3rd option" and he explain why is the best possible outcome. The 3rd option is what Saren wanted after he was implanted by Sovereign making him cybernetic.
What if some how Shepard cybernetic implants are similar, i know we find some vids on the game about the Lazarus project but what if....

All my friends thought I was weird for being excited when I was able to by the hanar fornax in ME2. I thought it was funny!
