Pretty far-fetched, but still.

Okay, so I've been recently reexamining this theory and one thing someone said was about the trees.
I only have the Restart Mission save, so I saw them there, but I don't feel like going back all the way. Are there seriously no tree before the beam hits? I don't remember any, but it's been a while.
There are no plants of any kind, there are a few gameplay vids on here you can watch if you don't want to do the whole mission again
Actually I showed a ton of trees that looked exactly like this prior to being hit by the beam during a playthrough on twitch the other day. I was actually talking about them - so yes, some trees do actually exist prior to being hit by the beam.

Seeing as this thread embraces all the symbolism throughout the game, has anyone pointed out that when we first see the kid at the beginning, he's running around playing with a toy Normandy? As in, he has the Normandy (and thus, by proxy, Shepard) in the palm of his hand, controlling its every movement.
Pretty far-fetched, but still.
SR-3 I believe....

I'm fairly certian it was just an aliance fighter, like the one the girl had in the cinematic trailer, though I could be wrong. That would be a big hint if you're right

C'mon Bioware, we know you can write better than this... just be decent peoples and tell us what you are doing.
oh, and if you really thought those endings were good.... can I have some of what you are smoking please? would help me get through the day.

According to one of the work logs, there are 2 cerberus officer who had mental issues.
One of them was telling wedding story. However, it belongs other officer. After the logs, one of your squadmates tells 'Reaper is infecting their minds'
Long story short, they're actually sharing same memory fragment.
Like Anderson in ME3 final. He never been in Collector base but he's describing it like he saw it before.
Reaper may be affecting Anderson or Shepard or Shepard only

Just rewatched the run to the beam; there are trees to the left and right, but none in the middle area, where these are.

I think Anderson says: "It looks like how you described the Collector base"

I played through it just yesterday, and yeah, he says it reminds him of how Shepard described the Collector base.DavidMW wrote...

I always assumed that the "memory" was something conjured up, due to the indoctrination, that neither of them really had. You know, since one of them saw a face come out of the wall and rightfully freaked out. And because indoctrination makes you see things, vivid memories and hallucinations, then I don't see why the kid shepard saw could be anything but that.

Those leaks haven't been confirmed (not like Bioware would), and a lot of people think it's just a fake. I admit, it's a very good fake if it's a fake, but it could still just be a fake.Abdul_777 wrote...
Is there anyone left that still believes theyre just waiting for more people to finish the game (genuine question btw, havent checked news the past few days) or you're all just trying to create a story framework for possible dlc? And what happened to those dlc leaks with mp classes?

Indoc Theory needs a rival twitter page to @Retake...
We don't really want to rival them though, we just expanded upon what they want. They stopped at "the endings suck" we determined WHY they suck and what may actually be happening
That's what i'm trying to get across. They use that page as a rallying cry for their group, we should have one that sedates their whining with good old fashioned rebuttals. It also gives us a chance to expand and get more of the player base to look at this theory...I cant tell you how many people I've had to direct to this page in the last week.
Well then that IS a good idea
No it isn't. We don't know if we are correct or not, and it would further the divide. Not everyone in ReTake is just whining, just like not everyone here is trying to force the theory down others' throats.
If you want an Indoc support Twitter, awesome. But to rebuttel the same people we should (and that quite a few already are) be with? No.

It's been two weeks, now. I think the vast majority of people who purchased on day 1 have finished the game.

That's what I said further up in the convo, it's not to tell the re-take people that they are wrong, its to help them since we all want the same thing on a basic level

It was never about letting people get the game. It was about the NDAs primarily. If we were to get an answer, marketing will take advantage of the situation to make a show out of it (that would have been pre-planned anyways) at PAXE. It's just like with multiplayer. They will want to show and tell, not just tell. That is of course provided that they have anything to start with. In any case, we probably won't hear anything remotely solid until PAX where they will have all the media in attendence.
The DLC stuff was more-than-likely fake. There were no follow-up posts at all. Who knows.
And this theory isn't about trying to set up for future DLC. It's about attempting to understand the plot holes and events in the ending. Naturally, DLC is going to come up in either case with the endings, but that is all fan fiction past the point that is shown in the game until BioWare comes out with their plan or lack of plan.

In some Asian markets, it's only been out for 5 days, I think. (the 15th?)
