I would like to link this video.... It explains he explains what was going to be the original ending and proposes what he would do to fix the ending. The ending he proposes is just fantastic and is on the lines of what i was thinking in terms of epicness and scope
Sorry if this has been posted before, and if so i believe it deserves to be posted again

And his follow up which focuses on other things that could of been improved
www.youtube.com/watch
hearing the points from the first video makes me a bit sad, knowing what could have been.
Although it doesn't really have anything to do with the indoctrination theory, I think he's got some decent ideas. The guy's enthusiasm (and disappointment) is infectious. It just goes to show how many ways this ending could have gone. People are coming up with all sorts of interesting endings. I'd really like to see what the "writer's room" at Bioware looked like when they were planning out the ending. Or maybe it would scar me for life, I dunno.

I have one problem with the indoctrination theory - Harbinger isn't firing mind control beams. he's firing laser/plasma/random energy beams that tear through space ships and basically obliterate everything. If indoctrination is true, I don't think it can be because of Harbinger firing on Shepard. I think that can have a direct impact, like Shepard being so weak after the blast that Harbinger can take control of his mind through some telepathic means, but the beam itself doesn't cause indoctrination.
Adrenaline speeds up the Indoctrination process, this is stated during the files on the Husk experiments in Sanctuary. What would bring Shepards pulse up more than charging the beam of light while harbinger is riåpping things apart left and right.
Oh and about the ripping things apart. Harbinger precision shoots vehicles, both flying and driving, but he misses a single slow moving human? Commander Shepard no less, someone we know Harbinger knows in person and Harbinger just misses him/her and then flies away just as Sheaprd gets back up?
Commander Shepard as a Reaper double agent...I cant see how that would be beneficial to the Reapers in any way

well I just did the side quest with conrad in the citadel in which he actually tells you how the weapons is supposed to work using dark energy to target the reapers.and how he has a degree in Xenoscience and sends Shepard a copy of his dissertation on dark energy matter.
Dark energy is the name given to an unexplained force that is drawing galaxies away from each other, against the pull of gravity, at an accelerated pace.
Dark energy is a bit like anti-gravity. Where gravity pulls things together at the more local level, dark energy tugs them apart on the grander scale.
Now since we have a simple Idea what dark energy is. I have a hard time beleving that it can combine DNA together as it doesn't actually combine anything it tears things apart at a grander scale.
Granted I don't expect game developers to explain what dark energy is but simple research would suggest that sytnineses is atleast not possible in that weapon design.
I just find it funny that if the weapon is built like they say then the green ray should never be an option.
But if we take it as hullnation/induncnation it could be the reapers offering him this just so they can turn him like saren. Or it could be his brain just dying and trying to give him an ending he be happy with

BUT
I checked the video and replayed the specific parts. Everything in the video can be invalidated (not to mention some of them are stated false like the trees. The trees are there when you are running towards Harby).
The questionable parts for me:
1. Hackett radio (could have been an overlook by BW, but right before the radioing the Citadel opened so Hackett could assume Shepard made it)
2. Unlimited ammo (probably was easier for programming)
3. The final easter egg

It would seem that the crappy lip-sync and other bugs (like clipping) were deliberate.
I doubt this though, as the from ashes DLC was bug free and had perfect lip-sync.
Also I have an abnormal copy, the lip-sinc was pretty good (for a video game) and the only clipping issues were the various characters having odd points of observation (like liara looking at glyph while it SEEMS she was meant to be looking at shep).
Maby the DLC will end up being like fight club.
Shep will be shown a vid of what he was really doing, like killing civilians instead of husks.

It seems pretty obvious to me that it was not Bioware's intent for the indoc theory to be true based on interviews about the ending, but all the evidence is there to support the indoc theory.
I think that Bioware is trying really hard to not give away that the indoc theory is true and that they will announce that it is later.

That's hardly "everything in the video". I agree on points 1 and 2, but they're certainly not the pivotal arguments in favour of Indoc Theory.
Can you confirm that the trees are 100% there before the laser hits (i.e. with pictures)?
Also, does the "final easter egg" mean the Stargazer scene?
To be honest the most compelling piece of evidence in favour of Indoc Theory is the Shepard's Alive! breathing scene. It's categorically impossible that he's on the Citadel, given that the Citadel just blew up in the Destroy ending. Therefore he must be on earth (reinforced by the concrete rubble's similarity to Earth's environment).
And if he wakes up on Earth, there's no way he could possibly have ever been on the Citadel, because no-one bar no-one could survive a fall and re-entry from outerspace onto a hard concrete floor, let alone with no helmet.

I didn't list everything in the video because nearly all of them are the subjective opinions of the creator. You can easily explain those the other way around.
Trees: I have an Xbox so its not simply print screen. But you can replay it, just run around a bit (before the beam hits you) and you can see all the trees. Even the smaller and bigger ones.
The easter egg is the breathing scene which is the only "real evidence" that there is something shaky going there.
Apart from that I love the indoctrination theory. Its a perfectly viable ending. But not a proven fact.

Indoctrination is essentially brain washing, the person's mind is broken down, usually without them being consciously aware of it, so that they do the Reapers bidding. It isn't really an active or direct sort of control. Sovereign didn't control Saren like a marionette.
But TIM wasn't brain washing them (or even mind controlling them), he was controlling their bodies alone (except for their heads, apparently, since they still talked). It doesn't really make sense how he could mechanically manipulate Anderson's wholly organic body.
It's more similar to Harbinger's 'assuming direct control', but even then, there's a significant difference between the way it's portrayed. Harbinger seems to project himself into the entity to control it completely, while TIM was manipulating them from the outside like they were puppets.
Further, I think Harbinger was only shown to be able to do it, and only to be able to do it with the Collectors specifically, not husks, and Cerberus/Lawson was only studying husks.

Hope not, I am going to Japan the day before.
But in all seriusness, that would be waitig to long. No, I think if there is gonna be an announcemet its gonna be any day now. April 1. might have been there original goal, but it is too far away.

Bioware have to release content that provides a journey beyond the game ending. I am convinced that not only it is their intent, but have been all along.
Here's the kicker. The Indoctrination Theory holds water, but the ONLY way that players around the world could be fooled and indoctrinated by the reapers, is to not give the ones who resisted indoctrination too much content that spreads on youtube etc. At least not until more people have played the game.
I still want to know how we beat the reapers, but i can wait a little longer.
