Btw. I think that BioWare will make a statement on Thursday! So everybody on the planet had 1 week to play the game! If not....There won't be a fanbase left to save

I would say at this point we have an effective military strength of... OVER 9000!!!  If that isn't enough to convince Bioware to say something, I don't know what will.

Edit: I would have used a Mass Effect line, but I couldn't think of one that would work, so I decided to use a meme.

9000? NINE THOUSAND? Dude, we have an ems of OVER...uhhhm wait *check the ending poll* ah got it: OVER 57630!!!!!
So...this should be enough to kill the BioWare Reapers

Btw. After another heavy conflicts with the BioWare Reapers, we finally took Bremen back. But Intel says that more Reapers are on the way to us. If someone read this: WE NEED SUPPORT. Only 3 Companies and 2 Divisions left...
I don't know how long we can stop them. But we will hold the line till the last man!

Haven't heared about the other front line since Saturday! Any reports? Whats the status? Do we loose the war?
Contact to Berlin lost...

Salarian STG team in Coopenhagen here. Just outran a massive group of Cannibals and are currrently hiding in The Round Tower, trying to get some rest. One would think the Reapers would watch such landmarks, but they seem uninterested in anything but tearing open safety vaults and harvesting those inside. Grizzly sight, but we cant help anyone or we die as well.

Need to get out of the city though. Running low on ammo and supplies and I highly doubt we can get any more intell from here. Wish us luck.

Not sure if I can spare troops, but I think I could airdrop a shipment of Phaeston's and thermal clips.  Will those be of assistance?

I can spare a bunch of Prothean Overheat:lol: Rifles.

Well, at least they wouldn't have to worry about ammo.

That's why.

Speculation.

At first I was like "who the hell is eve?" and then I rememberd.

If the crystal in someway is linked to shepard getting out of the reaper hold, it kinda reminds me of another series.

Oh and speaking of series
Green Ending = buffy season 5
blue ending = x men, the first movie.
red = probably a movie or tv series as well.

anyway, the crystal might just be for nothing, but if it is for something, then what? More space magic?

Think of it as the reaper becoming soul mates with you.. that they shift your thinking until you think like them.. You can't escape, unless you were to erase memories that give them access to you. The memories of the boy would be their access point to your mind. Perhaps the memory shard would be a method... The protheans have tech that seems based around this quantum biological linking system.. Protheans seem to be able to use smell to make connection to information about the organism.. He could however only know about say grunt what he knows that matches grunt because there is no actual transfer of information only correlation. Our genes related to smell are turned off that represents about 50% of the genetic differences between humans and chimps. Humans have a horrible sense of smell.

Scientifically this gets into a thought experiment of dropping a wallet into a black hole and realizing that the information isn't lost but encoded in the surface.. this gets into the holographic universe.. beware it got swarmed with cultist just like quantum things have.
As to quantum it gets into entanglement as identical long chain molecules are knocked into super position.. That the identical patterns shapes the information enough to cause a chance of entanglement in things that didn't touch. There are more classical functions to this though.

Fair enough.  Uh, something about the star-brat scene feeling off, and something about how we were all surprised that the blue/Paragon option was what the Illusive Man wanted. jk, jk.  In all seriousness, I think that what might be best at this point would be to summarize the most important points for people who are just jumping in and who don't want to read the wall of text of the first page.

Point one: Shepard is shown waking up under a pile of concrete right after the Citadel EXPLODES.  Shepard is tough, but even he died when his ship was blown up.  Also, there is no evidence that the Citadel has concrete in it, as all we've scene up to this point is metal.

Point two: The scene with the Illusive Man has several things in it, but possibly the most important part is how when Anderson says, "They're controling you," he is looking right at the camera.  Remind me of the ending of Assassin's Creed II.  Also, when Shepard shoots Anderson, he shoots him in the lower left side of his abdomen, and while Anderson almost doesn't seem to react, Shepard is shown clutching the same area right after killing TIM even though he was shot in the shoulder by Marauder Shields, not the abdomen.

Point three: In the actual choice scene with the "Catalyst" a.k.a. Star-Brat, the choice to control the Reapers, TIM's choice, is shown as the blue/Paragon choice, while the option to destroy the Reapers, Anderson's choice, is shown as red/Renegade.  Also, the Star-Brat makes the Destroy option seem like the worst option by telling Shepard that it will destroy ALL synthetic life in the galaxy (including Shepard, who is partially synthetic) as well as just the Reapers.

Anyone want to continue?

Edit: Or should I say more?  OK, I'll add more just for kicks.

One point - the presence of the trees before the blast does not necessarily mean they aren't a sign of ID. For starters, there are (from what I can gather) more trees, some of the little bushes and they're in a different place afterwards. Secondly, pre-blast Harbinger had already landed so the trees there could be the effects of the ID leeching out before it takes over completely.

While it doesn't necessarily change the argument you were trying to make, but the Protheans used touch, not smell.

Would like to post a link to yet another video from AngryJoeShow who i personally find is hillarious. The videos goes over the top 10 reasons the ending is bad. He covers most of the important reasons and as always made me laugh. You know things are looking good when Joe is on your side.

I just had a thought.  When Shepard goes to the Ardat-Yakshi monastery, Samara's daughter, Rila, had already begun experiencing the effects of indoctrination.  She couldn't have been near to the Reapers for THAT long, and yet, she was already suffering the effects of being exposed to them.  I wonder if something similar was happening with Shepard.

I'll add this here because this board get's so many posts in such a short span of time. :)

... I looked through a bit of the indoctrination theory threads and videos and didn't see it mentioned so I'll do it here. If it was already mentioned then I'll apologize in advance for wasting cyberspace.

Some hours ago I finished my first ME3 run as a Paragon and the ending cutscenes intrigued me. Besides the already covered odditites I noticed one that I THINK wasn't mentioned yet:

after beaming up to the Citadel I noticed that my Shepard had Renegade like scars... even though I played as a total by the book Paragon. Didn't choose even one Renegade option. I'm quite sure those scars weren't there beforehand... I probably would have, should have spotted them.

Then I saw the Illusive mans face covered with scars and glowing eyes and I remembered something:

A Renegade Shepard that would either choose Control or Synthesis looks quite like the INDOCTRINATED Illusive Man, no?

I'm sorry if my sentences are unclear or filled with grammatical errors, English isn't my first language.

Anyhow... these are just my thoughts, what do you think of them?

Did your Paragon Shepard also get scars after he boarded the Citadel or am I blind for not seeing them before? :)

Great catch! and if you look closely at the synthesize/control endings, your shepard's eyes will change to look like Saren/TIM's...showing you are indoctrinated

Yea, synthesis ending doesn't make sense. I think the God-child is lying... I've been trying to make a connection to the Lazarus project and Shepard's indoctrination. However, it pulling at straws at best. Shepard's renegade self looking like TiM doesn't give much either, I wouldn't make much of it, it's just a coincidence at best.

End the end, I think Space magic is the answer... Just read another thread that applies  math to Joker's FTL escape. Only Space magic makes everything that happened consistent.

Edit: Glad someone else saw the EDI eye resemblence too. Two post down :).

I havent checked the renegade stuff myself but iirc it has been brought up already earlier, neverthless it makes you think if the ending was indeed rushed and they were being plain lazy,a lot of the small details theyve put into the ending meant extra work,it makes no sense.Sigh, this wait for a no-PR-bs news is killing me ><

The eyes have nothing to do with indoctrination. They are prosthetic eyes - Shepard's eyes have probably melted away or deteriorated enough that they need replacement/enhancement when he was revived. The 3dot design for eye prosthetics is also seen on EDI.

Now their colour might, although it's most likely just an artistic addition. TIM's eyes were blue before he "upgraded" himself as seen in that log on the Cerberus base and after that they were green.

Remembered one last thing...

starting the walking scene towards the beam for the Citadel I first turned around and saw a tree like those in the 'dream sequences'.

Mysteries! :wizard:
