Tying up the plot points of the past 2 games was great. I cured impotenence and made enemies like each other enough to live together in peace and harmony.

But surely ME3 should bring it's own plot strand into play and tie it up in the same way as the other plot strands.

I'm a tali guy all the way.

It's linked somewhere on another thread , of course some people see the official denial as merely a cover up, and I've got to say it does sound convincing but....

Yeah, you can have your house with Tali on Rannoch, but I want my blue babies! Posted Image

/edit: Okay, to be serious again. I think we just should have had way more explanation of what exactly happened (either if it was meant to be all real or indoctrination or whatever) AND more of what happens afterwards. Crashing on some random (?) jungle planet just is not enough. Especially if you let Shepard be alive and don't explain how the hell he got there.

I agree the whole game is 'the ending' all the story arcs but then it kind of flies in the face at the end cause no matter what the mass relays get destroyed (those arguing it's different to arrival there's a post using physics to prove otherwise and that it would lead to perhaps an even bigger explosion
http://social.biowar...96/blog/211763/ ) and causes all galaxy life to end, future mass effect titles would have to focus outside of the galaxy or prior to this trilogy, something I can live with but a complete hit in the gut if it can't be in the galaxy I love

One thing that many people seem to miss on the "lack of closure" argument, is that they CLEARLY try to give you some before you launch the final mission. You have the chance to walk around and talk to your squad mates on your way to Anderson...HELL, Garrus even mentions something like "if one of us doesn't make it out, we'll be watching over the other." and then like "Then we'll be there together soon."...then Wrex calls you his brother. A Krogan calling an alien his brother. if those things are not closure then idk what is.

Yes I agree a small part of me wants to see a happy ending if not for Shep at leastvfor squad mates

All though no children for Miranda fans as file in Lotsb shows she Infertile, she could always clone herself I suppose

I like Tali too since she's alway been there from ME1.

Still, Liara's the only romance interest with the Quads for full frontal nudity.....

see my post about about the galaxy ending no matter what you choose = a closure definitely but not the kind anyone expected or would have wanted as future ME titles would have to be in the past or in a different galaxy - i.e. not really the same game universe to those who played the original trilogy and read all the books etc
The whole 'it's not the same as Arrival with the Mass Effect Relays doesn't hold water without calling it space magic and just assuming the player will buy it. Even if they use space magic, it should have been explained because the player has already seen what the explosion does in Arrival what else are we going to think
in short NO closure because NOTHING is explained

I think it has to be one possiblity to get a real happy ending. There can (and should) be other possibilities but there should be one happy ending. I repeat myself, but currently you could sure argue that there is a happy ending, Shepard is alive and his Squadmates are also. But no explanations? That's not satisfying.

/edit: But maybe we should get back to topic. I would still like to see any ideas on the fact that the reapers were focusing London. Maybe I (or we) missed something in the game? Also WHY did Joker leave?

do you perfer your romance interests with or without underwear? I ask because ppl want to see Vega as a romance...... but with his fairly obvious use of muscle enhancers to achieve that ripped physique I wonder if he's beyond hope of filling out the role

I like the indoctrination idea, but when does it start and stop?
Clearly every time Shepards is knocked unconsious(probably misspelled that one) something must happen. So there is definitely a change from the scene where he has been dealing with Anderson to the one where he talks to the catalyst. I have an idea that he somehow enters the AI of the citadel, where he is met by the child.

That's why he says you are the first organic to stand there.
That also explains how the reapers could get destroyed, since Shepards doing inside the citadel will have a real effect on the reapers.

Therefore Shepard never leaves London but is continuing the fight in his head and is able to wake up again in the destroy ending.

If only I could find some meaning with Joker's escape.

Many believe that the cinematic sequences that happen after you choose an ending are simply there as visions of "hope" in shepards mind.

i really hope that if bioware decides to alter the ending that they go with this theory as a way out.
that said if i remember correctly in mass effect 2 harbinger could take direct control of the collectors so couldn't he do that with the illusive man?? then shepard and the illusive man/harbinger could battle it out at the end, more of a climatic ending, imo anyway.

To the OP, 900 pages later, the only piece of evidence (which you never mentioned in your mile long diatribe of 99% baseless conjecture) that would point to it being a dream/hallucination/indoctrination/whatever is the fact that he is no longer standing in an enclosed area of the citadel when he's talking to the star child.

Your picture showing there is a gap between the crucible and the citadel clearly shows that he is standing on the outside of the presidium tower, which is directly exposed to space and shepard is wearing plain clothes with not a shred of his combat armor/enviro-suit to be found.

He should have suffocated.

The rest of the article is rather long winded and amounts to nothing but conjecture and conspiracy theorist ramblings.

Well TIM as physical fight was planned at some time but that idea really got scrapped and I think that this was handled correctly. A real boss fight would be nice but I think directly fighting Harbinger in some way would be much better than fighting TIM.
