optimist ... I'd wait until the end of April. ;)

I'm sorry to disagree, 6th of April they have PAX, so they should announce something there.

7th that's the Mass effect and Dragon age panel day I heard

Just checked - 4:30pm 4/6

So this was on Bioware's twitter... So whacha think? Supports or disputes the theory?

Highlighted the bit I didn't like. That sounds like it wasn't all a plan.

Sounds more like PR damage control.

@greywardencommander Speaking of the Dragon Age panel, doesn't anyone question why they would have a mass effect panel unless they were going to announce or show off a large sized DLC or something? wouldn't it make more sense to put all of their resources into promoting Dragon Age 3 than an already released game?

i cant see the economic viability of setting up an entire panel for mass effect to go "LOOK GUYS OPERATION OMEGA!! AND NEW MAPS FOR MULTIPLAYER, HURRR DURR" the whole point of conventions is to show off upcoming products, it doenst even make sense for them to 'Demo" ME3 as the DEMO for the game has been available on PSN and XBL for AGES, and i doubt anyone able to go to PAX wouldn't have access to the internet to use PSN/XBL to try the game out via the demo.

Guys, the one big gaping hole in Indoctrination Theory is simple:

Bioware didn't write it. It's fanfiction. You all are subscribing to someone who should probably be demanding royalties (were it allowed in the ToS of this forum).

There are people who watch a thriller and know quit early of the film who is the killer, because they recognized all the small hints hidden in the movie. It may not be different here.
Especially because thoused of people all over the world got the same impression, so why not?

Maybe... It's hard to say really.  They could just consider it new becuase it was not in the original Mass Effect 3 package.

Bailey says keeper tunnels to citadel superstructure are like an ant farm. he specifically stated its not a one way in-out system, a contradiction to the ending.

Not sure if this has been pointed out, but I also think it's worth noting, that the room the catalyst is in, is composed in pretty much the exact same way, as the place where Shepard gets hit by Harbinger, assuming you're looking towards the beam in both cases:
(Snip)

Couldn't find a better picture for the scene on earth, but I think the fact that it's blue on the left, red on the right, divided by a bright beam is plain to see anyways.
Scene from the citadel is taken from Byne (OP)

There are also four wheel structures on the left of the catalyst area but none on the right.

There is a mako on the left of the beam outside but none on the right.

Just thought you'd like to know :)

throw in the fact it looks suspiciously like the run to the conduit in the first game re. big beam at end lets get to it, and I think the catalyst area is not real it's based on his imagination

It's clearly PR talk to stop the fans' outrage against the "current endings", they can't give us a DLC in 2 or 3 weeks. ;)

I promised Liara lots of little blue children. I shall not rest until this is made a reality.

I agree COMPLETELY! the most depressing part was in the cut scene when they get out of the crashed normandy, and liara is smiling... WHAT!? NO! unacceptable, there is no way in HELL that liara would not be depressed for leaving shepard alive regardless if she knew he was alive or not, especially after telling him how much she loved him in more occasions than one. and if they kill her off I WILL DESTROY SOMEONE!!!! i Shouted out in protest when kai lang hit her on thessia.... i will not see her die like the deleted scene showed!!!!! its BOWL CRAP!

Yep, no way they could plan, animate, record voice actors and quality control in a month.

Unless their clarification is just, "hey here is an epilogue" or :) they are already well through making the ending.

Haha, yep, I agree. I mean, maybe they still were creating the "end" because the lack of time (I can buy that) but I'm sure IT is true and this was planned. I even thought that maybe they were planning to announce ME3 expansion pack at PAX on April, everything's still possible. :)

I hope it's not an epilogue, I hope that no matter what indoctrination or not, hallucination or not, real endings as they are or what the ending stuff is proper mission/s & dialogue etc

Yeah, that's what I thought.  New Content is an ambiguous phrase.  It could simply be new to us, not new for them.

I will firmly hold on to this belief until OFFICIALLY proved otherwise, I.e. a definitive statement saying, the endings are as they are, the fan speculation and ideas have been fun but what happens at the end happens.

Now I'm fully indoctrinated. Thank you BIOWARE for that great experience.
Today at work I saw Catalyst Child and he spoke to me:

Look at the Colander (ending with all the holes). Why do you claim that's the Pot? (full valid ending(s)).

I wanted to respond but he was already gone…

IMHO IT it's the only thing that can explain all this chaos without creating another fan's outrage.
And it was planned… maybe BIOWARE didn't anticipate the magnitude of this twist… (fan reaction, etc)
So they can say whatever they want:
- We planning new ending, new content
- We will clarify things
- We will give you the closure

So I'm not surprised by Ray Muzyka's letter - it's all the part of the Great Design ;).
Anyway it's just my opinion.

You guys might all want it to be a dream sequence with the REAL ending yet to come in a delightful little DLC package but think about how the rest of the world would see that. Charging fans for a real ending would look like the worst money-grabbing tactic a game developer has pulled to date and everybody will be annoyed by it. I really doubt Bioware would risk that sort of bad press, especially since their reputation as EA's DLC-milkers is already quite damning.

Like it or not we're stuck with the endings. Shepard's either dead or seriously injured and marooned on earth, along with the quarians and the krogan and a ton of turians and possibly geth. The Normandy's trapped on some garden world with no way off because the relays were all destroyed. I just don't see where Bioware can really go with this IP anymore, unless the DLC is all pre Take Back Earth mission.

yeah, but think about this, why if shepard got burned up and killed entering that planets atmoshpere on mass effect 2, would he be able to survive not only the citidel blowing to hell, but the fall to earth, its impossible.
