Was the ending a hallucination? - Indoctrination Theory

People wonder why there's a beam from Earth to the Citadel. Perhaps it is bait to funnel Shepard into one area so that Harbinger may confront him.
Also, what happens to the huge circular hole in the Citadel when the arms close? Could a ship fly through?
If the beam was just bait, then you'd expect it to be destroyed after Harbinger was done luring Shepard with it. Then maybe the Citadel Defense Force would somehow open the arms long enough for Shepard to get through (maybe Reaper forces close them back up and you have to fight through them and have a real confrontation with TIM).
When the relays fire and you see the Galaxy map, try to trace out where it originates and where it travels on another galaxy map with all the connections (of course there are those inactive relays to account for). From my first comparison:
Local Cluster
Exodus Cluster (Eden Prime)
Serpent Nebula (Citadel).
Horse Head Nebula (Noveria)
This is probably not intended and this a weak idea, but it's almost as if the path matches Shepard's path at the beginning of Mass Effect 1, I don't know where he came from when heading to Eden Prime, but after Eden Prime he goes to the Citadel, then, if you chose so, Noveria

Also, considering Neo "dies" at the end and comes back/wakes up with more understanding of what he needs to do and what he is.
"You take the blue pill – the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill – you stay in Wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit-hole goes." -Morpheus
"I know you're out there. I can feel you now. I know that you're afraid... you're afraid of us. You're afraid of change. I don't know the future. I didn't come here to tell you how this is going to end. I came here to tell you how it's going to begin. I'm going to hang up this phone, and then I'm going to show these people what you don't want them to see. I'm going to show them a world without you." - Neo

Agreed, n00bsauce. If there's one thing BioWare writers love to do, it's mess with the player's head mid to end story
Is that sarcasm? If it indeed isn't then thanks. If it isn't.. then all I can simply ask you is what your statement means?
Not sarcasm. Keyboard's broken so I have a hard time typing.
But BioWare loves pulling story twists that seemingly come from nowhere, but make sense when you look back at them. For example:
Spoilers
Jade Empire: Throughout the first part of the game people keep telling you there's something odd about your martial arts style. Why? B/c the man who raised you wanted to leave weaknesses in your defenses so he could kill you when you had served your purpose. Which he did.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: Boom, you're Revan.
I guess I'm just saying BioWare has a history of player punches. Planning on Shepard being Indoctrinated seems par for the course.

Hey what exactly is the screenshot proving or disproving? Just curious? could that be the potential paradise planet the normandy crashes on?
Similarity is, it to that, as the planet was taken from memory.

Sadly i didn't get to play them. Obviously xbox owners were blessed with a really good dev then. I was a ps2 fanboy myself. Thats aside if those are major and unexpected plot twists, obviously the people who dislike me3 ending don't realize those examples are there. I'm glad you bring that up though. If it's true it's just more evidence pointing towards INDOC theory.

I see two moons. It makes sense. Nice job on that. Are there any other jungle planets besides this one that has two moons?

From what I've seen, the pulse seems to originate closer to the Viper Nebula than the Local Cluster - I saw it what, 150 pages back? But otherwise, it seems likely.

The twist is that you're indoctrinated... only meaning the real ending isn't there.

Viper Nebula was with the Alpha Relay right?
Wouldn't make sense that it originates from that, unless it shows the path of the Reapers or is somehow symbolic of Shepard. I have a map of the paths up, and although the Viper Nebula isn't shown, it still looks pretty similar to Local - Exodus - Serpent
after that I'm not too sure

Also if we're assuming the stargazer and child are on the same planet that the normandy crashes on then it for sure makes sense. The size in the moons is nearly identical. Just looked at the normandy scene, nearly identical size in the moons. But the placement is off a bit in the normandy scene (which is probably due to the moons revolving around one another)

Which is funny, because the codex says Zorya sucks. Gives everyone who moved there horrible allergies.
And i totally subscribe to Indoctrination. It's a freaking amazing theory, I just hope BW follows through with it.

Since we are back to the topic of "Where does the beam start?" on the galaxy map, I thought I would bring back my pictures and comparisons for you all. It looks like the beam starts in the Viper Nebula (Arrival DLC anyone?) and doesn't reach the Local Cluster for quite a while. I will include the video I suppose to back it up but here is my contribution:

We were promised a conclusion. Promised answers. Promised an ending that depended on our choices.
What we got was still a rushed, non-interactive slop bucket with three colors of goo. Even if you can excuse it with the "Indoctrination Theory", it's still the ONLY ENDING. No variations. Your choices mean absolutely nothing to this shallow ending they've thrown at us.
Paragon for three games? Renegade for three games? Doesn't matter! Same ending.
And this upcoming DLC, it packing a "real ending" would be such a sincere insult if they dared ask people to pay for it. Indoctrination or no, people want a real ending. They want more than ONE ending.

The indoctrination theory is real. And anyone who denies it is well... in denial. No hope for them IMO.
The devs put these clues in here for a reason. They linked it to the previous two games because they wanted us to find it and speculate (so in theory they reached the goal of "lots of speculation") The evidence gets stronger each day in my opinion. Also does anyone know of any other planets that have two moons? with a jungle-like appearance similar to that of zorya or the one in the normandy crash site.
