Am i the only one that remembers that EDI is made by a engineering from a Reaper technology?

If I remember correctly EDI stated that she started as the VI that went crazy on the moon back in ME1...

Dark.

Crazed AI + Reaper technology = Holy crap!

Considering that, EDI probably moved into EVA body to accelerate the indoc. . (Because she would be able to accompany shepard thru the.... "Missions") .

But on the other hand, she might aswell not be aware of what her "presence" are doing, too.

I don't think so , she seems to be more Star Trek's Data more than anything else.

[...] The Illusive Man restricted Commander Shepard's access to some of EDI's files and capabilities for unknown reasons [...]

Taken from the mass wiki. And forgot to add that she were designed from sovereign.

But like i said: She might not being aware on whats her presence are doing on the shepard.

Well, coming from the T.I.M. team, nothing is impossible.

Even if she was , Edi says in the game she's aware of her capablites that she so far has used to protect the crew.During she's had multiple times to betray the crew to the Collectors/Tim/Reapers , and yet in the end she went against it to protect everyone on the ship.I think she would be aware if she was doing something to Shepard's mind.

If IT is true then, if you pick Control or Synthesis. Can any of you kill your squad mates/Love Interest if it came to the part were you have to chose between them or you?

indoctrination not working like that.
If you have to kill some squad member  you can be sure that he deserved.
You will not become a evil person in your conscience, because you will not notice that, because your mind is distorted, you will kill a squad member because you will save the galaxy with his death for example.

True it can fit in with current endings because how would he know what happens but I like my idea better.
If noone quotes it read my wall of text in signature thread re. Psychology of endings and how I'd do DLC based on IDT regardless of final choice as it is
I've said before people with the codes could maybe access the ending for free because it was bought new (similar to Cerberus network in ME2) thus don't have to charge thus whole idea of that being a problem is moot.

Actually that makes me wonder how you would actually buy ME 3 used? I thought the copy is linked to your Origin account like forever?

This got passed over, and I feel this is very interesting:

From 0:35 to 1:50, but specifically the crystal. If you've seen Lord of the Rings, the wording is very very close to when Galadriel gave Frodo the little bottle of glowing liquid, in the first movie, and it was forgotten by everyone, including Frodo, until the spider fight in ROTK.

Not really to do with IT, but to me it shows there's more story coming.

Or she might turned it off while she severed the ties with cerberus. (meaning she did the thingy till suicide mission; or while she gained the full control on the scene of wich collector go aboard the normandy.)

Yeah, i know she does like the crews. But some tecnology cant be detected easily, (If Indoc or thing similar for it is implemented.) like some diseases that is hard to be detected on human.

I do desire that shes pure innocent, but coming from a pure AI, its kinda hard to...... To be 100% innocent.

I guess, many Pyjacks will end up as burgers before we know - I really don't see them announcing anything before PAX. And even for that event it is still open whether we will really here Mass Effect related news. The only thing that's more or less sure is that there will be additional statements in April.

One thing I was wondering: why does Anderson have a fully fleshed out skill tree, just like every other party member? Wilson in ME2 didnt have that, and unless you're doing a NG+, theres no way you can fill out Anderson's skill tree, nor is there any reason you'd even need to, as you dont actually encounter any difficult fights while Anderson is in your squad.

Unless they were planning on having Anderson in your squad again at some later point in the game, it doesnt make much sense to give him skills, including his own special 'Alliance Admiral' skill path thingy.

Guys, is it just me or do we hear that growling noise again in the final scene where we see Shepard lying in the rubble? (4:30 - 4:40 of this video)

Sounds almost the same as the noise we hear as soon as Shep 'snaps out of it" during the 'boy in the ducts scene' from the intro level.

Thoughts?

I don't think so.

The reaper sounds are made from a bear proof garbage can.. same sound.

I must admit, I did not look through the 919 pages of comments. Holy crap! But if you are tired of waiting around and have not read this:

Give it a go. Pretty good read imo. And if this was already posted, I apologize.

Everyone ignore circumstantial evidence from prior to the ending sequence and read my signature thread (I'm told it's enjoyable) on the psychology of the endings alone (I.e as they are presented) and why it points to a hallucination/indoctrination/something not being right
I discuss the psychology of interpretation, confirmation bias, the colour switch, the way the dialogue is presented, the obvious fact he controls your enemy why trust.a single thing he says (proven by breath in destroy)
The psychology of it in terms of real life times re. It won't harm their reputation if it's free in the long run, short term loss, long term gain, PR and double speak. Most importantly (at the end of what's quite long) how it could work (IDT) regardless of intent in the 'real endings'if you don't like long posts ignore the rest and read idea of future (free) dlc on IDT (clearly earmarked in bold and italics near the bottom)

The only thing that I think doesn't support this is Vendetta not sensing indoctrination in you, but sensing it when Kai Leng comes into the room.

Other than that, I approve of this idea completely.

And that's remedied a couple of ways. We already know that the Prothean Indoctrination dectection was flawed. it could not detect all of it otherwise the empire would not have fallen. It can detect "critical mass" indoctrination ALA Kai Leng, but seeing Shepard has not reached that stage yet it would not detect the subtle traces.

Somewhere on the story said that some people are like a "invisible indoc" carrier a.k.a dormant agent, meaning not all are detectable.

It's very similar though. At first it does sound like a growl, but nothing else is moving around.

Anyway, I support this theory, so I'll offer this.

I'm assuming that the Illusive Man was implanted with something to control the Reaper signal. Meaning any indoctrinated objects, husks, etc. would come under his will when he is nearby. This would explain how he was able to control Shepard and Anderson, rather than the thought of him using some random Jedi Mind Trick thing. This means both Shepard and Anderson would have had to be Indoctrinated to fall under the Illusive Man's will.

However, this is my last resort theory. I still WANT to believe the entire ending after Harbinger knocks Shepard unconscious is a hallucination.
