Cause Sheps mind is so weakend you don't need to put much effort into indictrinate him anymore.

so why can i only choose the "right" color of explosion. usually when my mind is too weak (pragon/renegade) for something the right options are grayed out and i can only take the bad ones.

Hmmm, I believe that you can only choose Destroy in that case because a simple fact, there's no hope.

With the min. EMS, you have the only option "Destroy" with the Earth devastated, etc. If you have so low EMS, it means you failed in "almost" everything, and Shep. knows it. The outcome is his mind, trying to fight against that future without hope, and finally imagines his/her crew, safe in an unknown but familiar planet. Maybe s/he dies, maybe don't, we don't know yet, because if IT is true, then that didn't really happen, and we'l have to wait until April. But that last image, his friends and love safe, it conforts him/her at the end.

My point of view, anyways.

Feels like it could come full circle. Considering if you shoot with your weapon, after-the beam hit sequence, you'll hear distant whispers of "Shepard..." after each shot fired. This is extremely easy to hear if you're going to pick your three alternatives.

It could simply be your teammate trying to get you back on your feet. It sort of makes sense :|

Generally if all your hopes and dreams are confirmed in one picture... It is probably photoshopped...

Hmm. Really? Big Tali fan? I can't think of any reason besides personal attachment to side with the quarians. I'm not being argumentative, I'm really just curious. Pragmatically, upgraded Geth would be a bigger asset I'd think. Morally, the quarians are and always have been the aggressors. Though it does make me glad I was able to save them both.

Any idea what scene this could be photoshopped from?
Some people are speculating the Garrus/Liara deleted scene but I don't see any shots similar to this.

Looks like her true pilgramage gift was forming a friendship/romance with the one guy who could save her species from geth obliteration.

Tali used what her momma gave her....for her people!

somhow like the character of Tali and could not bare seeing her to
commit suicide ^^. In my new playthrough I'll try to save both.. but
it's a pitty that Legion will die in any case.

No, but it really only becomes easy to hear if you turn the music off and have the volume up pretty loud. Try that. 

Edit: Forgot to mention, it also is heard mainly from the rear channels, if you have surround sound.

Im not sure if this has been mentioned (sorry but im not reading 1000 pages) but assuming he is indoctrinated could make sense. Shepard is considered a hero to many and so the reapers basically have him bring most of the galaxy to one system to make harvesting them quicker. Just a thought.

Also, about the echoey voice, if it was an actual echo, it would have a fixed origin. If you spin Shepard around rapidly while shooting, the echo comes firmly from the rear channels regardless, which could be an indication that it's not an actual echo.

I'm fairly certain that actual echoes in the rest of the game have fixed origins and are heard from the proper positioning if you rotate around.
