A subtlely indoctrinated agent who doesn't know about his/her own indoctrination and who has succeed in his/her mission, is nice. But, suddenly trying to resist the indoctrination and letting everyone build the crucible doesn't support that...

Or... Yeah... Maybe the crucible is for reaper purposes.  So maybe Shepard's been... Not indoctrinated, but willingly doing what he thought it was the right thing to do, but it wasn't because the reapers were subtlely directing his/her actions. Oh, this kind of ending does not deserve a DLC... It deserves an Expansion pack! And they had the pannel at PAX to announce something. Nice point of view, BrinkFX!

Yeah it has been mentioned for various reasons Shepard being indoctrinated would be the one of the worst things that could happen to the galaxy

The entire galaxy is united under Shepard, if he is indoctrinated then straight away all of the allies will start questioning his motives  even if your actions were good.  Every decision you ever made would be under suspicion.

I also like the idea of the "conduit" in London actually being an old artifact that was mentioned some time ago. This could explain why the reapers were initially focusing on London etc.

I think you are right, the crucible is a Reaper trap. The German translation "Tiegel/Schmelztiegel"
is used in sociologie(maybe the english word as well) for a happening, when many individuals get forced to mix up their culture etc to form a stronger nation.

Ah and of course a catalyst is just speeding up a reaction, less energie is required AND IT DOES'T GET DESTROYED IN THE PROCESS!!!!!!!!!
thats part of the official definition, just don't have the full one in my mind...

I wondered the if the Geth are your allies, where are their ground forces?
I mean the Geth have such advanced weapon systems like Armatures or the Colossus. But nothing will be used?
Even your War Assets state that you have a Geth Prime platoon.
But the Geth are not the only one you don't see in Battle even if they are allies (Volus bomber fleet, Rachni, Aria's Mercs etc.)

Just wanted to point that out, cause that annoyed me, too.

Imagine a few of those walkers in London. Reaper infantry doesn't have real AT equipment. The Colossuses could cut through the Reaper defences like "I can't believe it's not butter". Reapers need to go in the fight themselves.

I just realized something the star child says it created the reapers but since the star child in the citedel/crucible how can it have created the reapers as the reapers created the citidel so something is not right there.
