Except every time prior to this that we see Shep using the ear bud radio, she puts her finger to her ear. She never does that after taking the beam up.

I think i know why the game ended where it did. Mass effect is from the player and shepards perspective. Once you remove the Shepard from the players perspective, you remove the player from mass effect. Thus ending the game.

Too many pages to go through and look for anyone talking about this but what has been said about Anderson's extra dialogue with Shepard() in terms of the IT, not showing hate just looking for answers, thanks!

(apparently, not confirmed, but if Shepard has no LI over the 3 games this is the conversation you have with him, again not confirmed)

done. actually seeing all this again, i dont find it that bad the second time around.

i have heard somewhere that there is cut dialog of joker picking the crew up and even if there isnt, didnt hacket say something like all forces retreat? but what i still dont like is the last few seconds of the soundtrack before the credits roll. digusting to let something end this way. the earth battle music is also not my cup of tea. yet i love the piano reaper theme, even though i think they ripped the loud and low baaaaaa sounds from inception.

also my favourite moment in the game.. when the kid dies to that music. unfortunately it comes back as a transparent game show master in the end.

hmm... i guess there will be an epiloge dlc in a few days. (no indoc theory acknowledgement, though.)

I'm probably stretching way too much here, and I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but does the image you keep getting of Sanctuary on the shuttle monitor and the terminals throughout the facility seem to look a lot like the place you make your final choice?

There's very little gymnastics involved. And I certainly don't feel entitled. I'm barely a Bioware fan and did feel I got my $60 worth from the game. That said, I am totally convinced that the final 15 minutes were indeed an indoctrination attempt by the Reapers and the game ending how it did allowed us to really think about and participate in that mental battle.

I think the loud low baa sounds are meant to imitate the reapers. What i bolded- pretty damn funny. PICK YOUR FAVORITE COLOR! and if you're lucky you might be under some rubble

Do you mean the game or the Indoctrination Theory?

I can play the game perfectly fine up until about the last fifteen minutes. Playing my second playthrough and... I don't know. I have this icky feeling in my gut as I come closer to the ending. The only way I can stomach playing is the idea that there is more to the story than they have let on (IT) and this abrupt, random, space magic ending () is just a facade.

You're right. The emotional scene with the boy wrenched my heart the first time I saw it in the demo. It was only cheapened by him turning into some douchebag who kept invading my Shep's dreams and then turned out to be some mysterious spiritual **** who gave me three crap choices to end my favourite saga.

Ahh well. It's all been said before.

same symetrical properties. It looks close. Also in front of the conduit before you go through it and the final sequence with the boy.. if you compare the two.. they look very similar.

You know it's sad to see so many of Mass Effect fans backlash at Bioware about the ending. People ask that we demand a better ending because we got screwed over the ending of ME3. Has your already know the IT theory is real to us and, Bioware, but the demanding fans are saying " then why do the Reapers just not kill Shepard while he /she is knocked out.

Well if they think for a moment, if they killed Shepard the rest of the Allies/crew mates/present, and former squad mates , would fight even harder to attempt to avenge Shepard's death. You also have to think if the Reapers control the galaxy's greatest hero, then all the hope Shepard's allies had would be gone, and one by one they will be torn apart about Shepard's slowly raped body decay until Shepard is just a husk, or synthetic if you chose Synthesis.
