Lets speculate on whether they ate them or not.
"Jeff! You wont believe what happed!"
*With a sigh and Jeff stares at his friend with the look of depression and lost spirit*
"Do tell me this exciting tale Tim, I really have to catch up on this PAX stuff."
*Tim presents a cupcake to Jeff. The blue icing and neatly written Letter 'B' cause Jeff to raise an eyebrow*
"It gets better There has to be like 1000 of them. They just dropped them off!"
*Following his friend around the labyrinth of the office only adds to Jeff's intrest, as nearly all his co-workers are walking around with these multi-colored treats.*
..."wow"
*Jeff now stood in a room with boxes of delectable desserts. His look of depression now change to a vision of bliss. And Jeff knew that with these sweet treats all would be okay*
Safe to assume HELL YES!
And the fans altogether Assume Direct Control of Bioware!
Oh man! if only... lol

Shepard: "Don't worry Ash I will come back alive. You'll see."
The Catalyst: The paths are open now chose one.
Shepard; Crap. Looks like I won't be coming back again Ash, since I 'm being told by a 12 year old F***ing kid, who is giving me three crappy distentions that I have no control over. Plus the brat has told me I have to commit suicide for any of the three choices to work.

No, he's not a biotic god, or a spartan. HE'S EVEN BETTER. If I may refer you to this video: .

I love this song. It totally sums up my feelings about Shepard, especially if IT is true.

Anyone have anymore arguments, news, speculation?
I'm just here hoping someone continues the discussion, since i ran out of ideas.
So maybe i can pretend that my last real contribution wasn't 100 pages back.

It's mass effect meme time. Post some hilarious pictures regarding mass effect 3's ending. Like you've been doing. I keep laughing.

Maybe we should try role-playing again? It's been a while since we did that and I'm not sure if there's anything left to add.

I have a theory that perhaps the Xbox and PS3 have more data because they have the "rest of the game" on them. While the computer is left with less mainly because resourceful pc users. Like easily spot the extra files and reveal the ending before bioware gets its big "reveal"
Along with this theory I say that Casey Hudson said in an interview that they did want all the speculation.
If this can be entertained then it would close the argument of most that say that if IT is true then bioware gave us an incomplete product. If the ending is there in the Xbox and PS 3 and only needs a "trigger" then they, in fact, sold you a full game. Just used a tactic to hold it to get the desired speculation to flourish as they claimed they wanted.
Also, as you would ask what about PC copies and how the "rest of the game" is not present.
My theory would in love the fact that all pc copies are registered through origin (legal ones anyway) and ea controls it exclusively. That being said it would be easy to throw a patch in and give the last few GB of data.
Something to think about. Give me feed back and let me know if you thhino this plausible or not. If. Of feel free to correct me with details and sources if possible.
As I said my other post had links to a consumer site listing the data sizes for all systems. But I just googled each system and found it.

There MUST be something else on the Xbox version. Mass effect 2 size for Xbox was about 14Gb while Mass effect 2 size for PC was 15 Gb, which would make sense. The fact that the PC version is missing 5Gb really tells you something.

Time to put a little more fuel on the fire. Change your squad's outfits to their alternates. Guess what outfit they show up in at the ending cinematic? The default.
Every other in-game cinematic they always show your squad in the uniform that they are given at the char select screen. Or at least in every cinematic that I've seen.
Remember, these are not pre-rendered cinematics, these are rendered using the in-game engine.
Notice through the game some of the cinematics show Shepard's default weapon and others show the custom loadout you gave him. I have a hunch that this has more to do with the Unreal Engine and how the dev team set up the cinematics, and potentially missed an issue like this.
So 'maybe' is, IMO, the answer here. I'm not sure there is a way of knowing without someone from the team saying one way or another.
I agree though that looking at the art and themes is a way to go to try and see what the dev team was trying to convey to us, but I'm suspicious of things like what costume or weapon is loaded, whether or not I can see Shepards feet as he walks to the beam, or the gun on the citadel having unlimited ammo. A lot of those can be explained very easily by the complexity of the engine, setting up the sequence, or gamplay reasons.

Hmm.. someone could just put some kinda new os on their ps3 or xbox to potentially read the blu-ray and figure it out. or no? am I incorrect. That means the trigger still has to be on dlc?

I don't have on the Xbox or PS3 but used a consumer site.
If someone has their total game data file size for Xbox or PS3 please let this thread be made aware.

@Kroen135 Ideally you are right. I really hope that this is what they did. It is a genius idea on their part, but maybe they didn't expect such strong backlashes. I would expect the trigger to happen either April 1st (april fool's day) or after they possibly reveal the truth during their conference.
There MUST be something else on the Xbox version. Mass effect 2 size for Xbox was about 14Gb while Mass effect 2 size for PC was 15 Gb, which would make sense. The fact that the PC version is missing 5Gb really tells you something.
Plus the retail PC box says in the recommended and minimum requirements that 15gb's of HDD space is at least needed.
