People who hate the ending/People who excuse the ending
There is no love for it.

I wonder what percentage of fans they thought these endings would leave satisfied at all, let alone "extremely happy".
EDIT: "I honestly think the player base is going to be really happy with the
way we've done it. You had a part in it. Every decision you've made will
impact how things go. The player's also the architect of what happens."
"BioWare will not do a "Lost" and leave fans with more questions than answers after finishing the game, Gamble promised."
Oh my god. That is hilarious.
Yeah, not sure who they thought were going to be happy about the ending.
I haven't seen one person say they loved it and felt very satisfied with it. I would love to see what they thought was fantastic about it.
By the way... I am reading all of your thoughts. Just not ready to comment yet.

Well there's one person in this very thread actually, but that's the only one I've seen. *sees post above* Make that two people. Yay.
By the way, Gamble just tweeted:By the way... I am reading all of your thoughts. Just not ready to comment yet.

So if you think the ending was bad, or that it needs fixing, tell him what you think, people. There is still hope.

The three endings in the game come with no context, no buildup, and no hope. Once a series of objects-that-shall-not-be-mentioned are destroyed, it's all meaningless.
And as for the 'journey is more important than the destination', that's just not true. on another thread on the endings, someone posted a metaphor of walking through the park. You have a lovely walk and meet lots of interesting people, and just as you start to head home, you trip and fall face first in dog feces. Suddenly, your walk is no longer pleasant. All that you can remember, can focus on, is the end. Because the end was so profound, the whole experience is ruined. You can not look back at the good times you had in the park without also remembering falling face-first into dog feces.
Not my metaphor, as I said, but I think it's accurate.

Maybe you have low expectations? You thought Lost had the best ending to any show ever? You like having options and hard work taken away from you? You can only count to three not sixteen? When you watched the end to 300 you thought, "why didn't that guy with the one eye die too?"AbsolutGrndZer0 wrote...

No, seriously. I'm not trolling here. Don't play the ending, you will never want to replay this game or any Mass Effect game again. Just some friendly advice from someone who underestimated how bad the ending was.Legion64 wrote...
Nah.
Here's advice from a guy who saw the ending and enjoyed the ride.
Get over it.
It's just the Stargazer scene.TheInvicibleCandyBar wrote...
