• Laylah - Infilitrator - I've always liked the name and I've used it in several RPGs - means "night beauty" or "born at night"
• Lilith - Vanguard - Again, always liked the name - refers to the first woman/demon
• Lila - Soldier - It was a name that fit into the naming scheme that I ended up having for my Shepards

MaleShep

• Luis - Adept - Again, fit into the naming scheme that I had started
• Liam - Engineer - Because that's always thought Shepard's name should be
• Lafayette - Sentinel - Fit the scheme and I decided to base his look off the character from True Blood

Yes, I happen to like names that start with L, though I have no idea why.

Dalon

Simply because he is an extension of myself and hence is my main character in Bioware (DA:O, SWTOR, ME) games. Well except DAII, just because Dalon is a Warden in that Universe and while he may not return he will certain not be replaced.

Same goes for ME. if they ever make another game in the ME universe, I wont name the character Dalon, as Dalon was Sheppard.

I like to keep continuity in my games,

and when I decided to make a renegade maleshep I couldn't come up with anything. I asked my dad and he randomly said Cursor. So thats what I used LOL

I have a pattern that I follow when a game lets me chose names....

First play through is Male: Kevin (First name) sometimes Bean (Nickname)
Second play through is Female: Kim (logical conversion of Kevin)
Third play through is coin toss for gender Male: Nill (Name from old games) or Female: Samantha (had a cool female gamer friend by that name back in the day)
Forth is which ever one lost the coin toss from the third play through

After that..... i try to construct names letter by letter to find something crazy that sounds cool...
