So after finishing a ME1 and 2 on the XBOX, I bought a PS3 after my XBOX died.  I guess there is no way for me to convert my xbox saves to a ps3.

The thing is that I am interested in seeing how the choices I made in ME1&2 would effect the 3rd game.  I'm only a couple hours into ME3 but so far I've been pretty bumbed about playing though with the "generic" story.

So I'm asking you guys who are further into ME3 or have finished it, is it worth it to go back and play ME2 on PS3 before getting into ME3?  Or are the changes not that important or interesting.

Please, no ME3 spoilers :)

Thank you!

ME2 w/ Genesis is definitely worth it.  Without the ME2 import, a lot of the Gang of 12 are dead.

I also found nice value in the DLC missions carrying over.

Thanks. Do you know if any of the DLC's come bundled with the PSN version of ME2?

Yes it is worth to play ME2 first, you notice more and its better exp in general.

Just a warning after you beat ME3 you will feel that you wasted your time.

No, what you do in Me2 has no effect on the ending of Me3, but it does have some nice moments before that.
