 I dissaprove of it.
I know that all the reapers are the big bad threat (alongside Cerberus). I still feel he should of had more of a presence in the game. Even though he was sort of the big-bad in ME2, it's ending & Arrival made it seem as though he'd be "The Big bad." in this game. He did show up at the end though, and was mention a couple of times...but still it wasn't enough. I mean, I would of atleast liked him to speak once, maybe while he's firing at you as you charge through to the beam, or through an indoctrinated Illusive Man.

But, yeah. I just wish he had more of a presence in the game.
What are your thoughts?

I think he should have been the reaper that was taken out by the thanix missiles with him talking to you the entire time

I found it kinda weird after how much he appeared in ME2. I was fully expecting to hear him gloat in ME3.

I guess the fact he tries to blow you up personally says how mad he is though... >.>

This. The game should have ended with a massive Boss fight with him(possibly going inside him) with assistance of the all fleets firing at once with the laser again and maybe have all your teammates fight with you(obviously the others would just be AI), including the surviving teammates from ME and ME2. Then, you go into the beam  alone, telling everyone to get clear and retreat or something. And then, deal with Illusive man . Then you sit down with Anderson and watch the Crucible/Catalyst and the fleets wipe out the remaining reapers.

I don't think there was anything more for him to say. Shepard has already made it clear that they're not going to back down. Trying to intimidate or negotiate with him at this point would only serve to give Shepard the chance to spit in his face and make him look weak. Taunting Shepard at the end would have seemed petty.

I'm sorry, but if Kai Leng can send an email, Harbinger can diss Shepard with his awesome voice for even one line of dialogue.

Oh, I know that was him. Like GBGriffin said, I just wish he was in the game more.

I was also kind of thrown.

Especially with him taunting you in The Arrival, I expected he would play a role that was non-interchangable with every other Reaper in space.

I was just waiting for "This hurts you" as I was disintegrated in the big laser. Harbinger's final troll.

More DLC?

I'm not even joking. They need to focus on fixing what they left out, not add entirely new adventures.

"SHEPARD. YOU. SHALL. NOT. PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSS!"

Wait. wait. I've got another one.

"SHEPARD. YOU WILL FAIL."

Yeah, that was petty too, but it didn't really help me take Leng seriously. In fact, I found it kind of amusing. Harbinger doing it too would have completely broken the mood. I have a hard enough time taking that silly face seriously.

I think something incredible as a "Shepard, you will fail." as Harbinger landed at the beam would have been pretty disquieting and awesome all at once.

Especially as you're limping towards the beam, bloody and beaten.  It would have been an ultimate, "lol F-YOU" from Harbinger.

I wanted Harbinger to be the boss fight as well. He's a fantastic nemesis. Truly. And I really, really wanted him to ask Shepard who he thought he was to try and stop the Reapers, with Shep saying, "I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my universe, you son of a ****." Shepard went too defeatedly, too quietly into those last three choices. There was no peace or resolution for him, which I think was the hardest for me. I don't understand how BW could do that to their own character. I've come to expect ****ty endings; they are just a reality with the substandard, cash-cow writing that's becoming more prevalent given the growth of the market... but to do that to your flagship hero? It was extremely bizarre and upsetting. Unacceptable. And the slam was even worse, because the writing had been exceptional up until then.

But there *was* Harbinger. LOTS of Harbinger. The last ten minutes of the game was Harbinger trying to fool you into doing his bidding and not press the "Reapers lose" button while disguised as an innocend and well-intended extremist Deus ex Machina child.
/wishful thinking

That isn't wishful thinking. That's close to fact.

In reality, Shepard hallucinated the entire ending after Harbinger shot him.

When he shoot at storm squad I was "Okay okay, just stay silent". Seriously I've heard enough of him in second part.

I was honestly expecting a hologram of Harbinger to be waiting for you when you were going up the elevator, with a final confrontation with harbinger trying to convince you not to destroy them, through "Fear of the inevitable" and coercion. Wouldve been so much better and fitting than the "Reaper God".

I kind of thought any moment after hitting earth i'd hear "Assuming control." and end up fighting a madly pissed off burning red banshee, then i was hoping to hear it during TIM, then the credits rolled.

Yes. If this will be true, Bioware will have made the best trilogy ever and will finish the story in style later.

As others have said, this is not wishful thinking. The is the only way any of us can parse the game in our heads and have it not destroy the whole premise of the series. So I for one, choose to do so.
