I didn't find him during my playthrough and I am pretty sure Thane survived the sucide mission and was loyal. Main thing I look foward to in a new playthrough is seeing Thane since he's the only former crew member I missed. I've heard it's sad though but at least he doesn't die a slow death on some random planet. Posted Image

Keep checking the hospital, if he survived the Suicide Mission he will be there.

Hospital in citadel. You should get a mail from him.

Anyone know where that mail is?

I'm about to do the Prority Tuchanka mission, which kicks off the Priority Citadel mission.

And judging from the notes I read, I have to contact Thane before that happens to get his involvement.

But so far, no mail, no Thane.
And I've searched everywhere in the hospital!

Hahah, you're in for a pleasant surprise on this second playthrough then.

Did you import ME2 or start a new game? From what I hear, you should import the game from ME2 to meet him.

If he survived the suicide mission you should get an e-mail from him to meet him in the hospital. Then you can talk to him and he says he'll watch over the VS for you. Then later in the game when you go to the Citadel he plays a pretty big role.

Yes to import, yes to survive.

No to mail.

I'm not sure what to do now.

I know from experience if I proceed past this point, Thane is lost without me actually meeting him.

So, until I work out what the heck is going on, I'm kindof at an impasse.

Maybe it's a glitch? Search around the right side of the hospital lobby (by Dr. Michel) and see if you can find him. If not... idk what's going on with your playthrough. Posted Image

Thane is standing off to one side in the hospital, in a char I believe. I missed him like 3 times before I realized the drell by the window. If not, then it might be a glitch with the trigger.

I hear there are two different out comes for Thane in the game depending on when you speak with him. Is that true?

I eventually found him, so hopefully i can continue now as planned.

Funny, i could have sworn he wasn't here before.

Well, he is good at sneaking around unseen!

I didn't find him either and he gave me the email too. I don't get why he wasn't there but now I have a reason for another playthrough.

I feel your pain.

My game was missing:

Chakwas
Kasumi
Matriarch Aethyta
The Salarian Spectre

& Pretty much everyone else from sidequests other than Conrad Verner.

Well, at least he went out with a joke:

Kai Leng was in peak health, cybernetically and bionically augmented and even in his weakened state, Thane still defeated him.
Thane was embarrased for him.
