I have no idea how it played out for anyone els =p

Legion, for me, is dead. When i had to make a choice back in ME2 on who to side with (even tho i had the space jesus option to get both of there loyaltys) i went with tali in fear.

The VI replacement for legion doesnt remember anything past his eden prime days, so all context the not dead legion is suppose to give you on the quarian/geth war, i guess i dint get =p.

Tali started with great distrust with the legion VI, and in the end was VERY against uploading reaper code back into a bunch of geth still in a war against her own people, unknowing and untrusting of what might happen. And i wasnt about to do it. When the choice was given, i only saw a huge unknown in helping the geth. It was either MABYE help the geth because this is a video game with happy ending, or bolster the fleet of an invading force. a force who sided with the reapers already AND cause real damage to a fleet i NEEDED for the reaper war. with the evidence i had, the choice was very clear to destroy the geth.

This is my favorite part of the entire series. The geth story was awesome sure, but i felt MY STORY played out different because if MY CHOICES.

What happened with you guys?

Sided with Tali because she's my LI and is generally an awesome character.
Got dialogue option to broker peace.
Success!
Have both fleets.
Score!
Doesn't matter in the end

I went all paragon and calmed the fight with legion and tali in me2, but didn't have the score to do it again in 3, so when it came down to geth or quarians, I chose the quarians.

Legion's death was sad, I liked him, so my second run through I saved both of their fleets.

It does matter!  You saved an entire race of people from extinction.  Two races if you chose 2 of the endings.

Talis my love intrest to.
BUT!  shes the damn reason the geth are destroyed..... when it came to it, my intrest in Tali made me think with a bias that caused the death of a whole people.

that makes up for the ending IMO

I had the paragon choice so I saved both. But obviously I would have sided with the Quarians if I had no choice. Only reason allowed Legion to upload the virus is because I knew BioWare would allow a way for both sides to come to an agreement.

But if I was playing for the first time and I didn't already think that a compromise was 100% possible, I would have sided with Tali out of fear of what could have happened. The Geth were just too susceptible to Reaper control. That, and I felt that the Quarians, with their superior engineering knowledge, would be the most important galactic asset towards finishing the Crucible.

also if you save legion he refers to himself as "I" instead of "we".

Temporarily yes, I did. Which makes my ending all the more depressing. But that's not what this topic isabout so I won't get into it here :)

Thats why i love it so much, in EVERY OTHER GAME moral choices are black and white. but i dint let myself think like that. i let the situation play out as i saw it moraly, and i got a unique outcome.

i felt that the whole importing choices thing in ME worked. not as intended probably, but for me it worked

These are not my words but what I found

DESTROY Heretics in Legion's loyalty mission in ME2 - 2 Points
Tali not Exiled WITHOUT turning in evidence- 2 Points
Solve Legion/Tali conflict in ME2 with Paragon/Renegade dialogue - 1 Point
2 Quarian N7 missions in ME3 - 1 Point each
Promote Peace at Tali's trial (Possible requirement)
Tali and Legion MUST both have survived ME2
Rescue the Admiral in the N7 mission, not the civilians
