well...
sure Shepard is dead , all mass relays are destroyed and the citadel is gone and there are loads of plotholes to fill
but for  Earth in the ME universe , it still have a bright future
the reaper threat is permantely annilated 
asaris, salarians , krogans ,turians , volus ,quarian ,even geth is stuck in Sol for the next 200 years 
a perfect recipe to rebuild Earth as a inter-galatic haven for all species
and with most of the reaper tech destroyed, humanity can finally develop on its own.

Legion's dream of humanity reaching it's full potential is now possible 

for the ME universe, i guess it ended ok..
for the Shepard storyline howerver........

but hey, we now can at least guess what Bioware is thinking about 
MASS EFFECT MMORPG.... the easiest way for EA to milk more profit without even thinking of a plotline

no the ending was not even OK, it was horrible. Many many many people feel this way too. MMO? pfft i would rather stab myself with a hot poker than play anything Bioware makes ever again unless these horrible endings are fixed.

On a serious note, im happy you're okay with it but there is one thing you missed that pisses me off most- your squad (the characters that I felt very attached to) ended up stranded on some planet with a very low chance of seeing earth ever again.

sheepard got shot by harbinger , he's seriously wounded and all the ending sequences are just his dying brain imagining all these crappy stuff
