I got this with Disc 1 the second time I put it in my 360 and I just got it again. It works most of the time and has no visible scratches on it since it's brand new but looks kind of warped. Did I buy a defective disc or is this a bug?

Having similar problem with Disc #2. Five hours into my first playthrough, starting the Prothean Artifact quest, right in the middle of Liara's "intro" monologue, "Disc Unreadable", twice in a row now. I've loaded the game onto my harddrive, so not sure why this is happening.

Help?

Mu husband and I are getting this as well, but with disc 1. He installed it on the hard drive in hopes that would fix it, but no joy. He tried cleaning it with a disc celaner we got from GamesStop but it seems to be scratching it, so we stopped that. Ugh. We just want to play our game.

I am having the same situation, and going to the official customer support page for EA/Bioware is no help. This is complete garbage.

To be honest I wouldn't be that upset about it if I could easily get ahold of someone from EA/Bioware but you can't they are making it extremely hard to find any useful contact info.

Just got down with an EA support person through a live chat and they recommend contacting the warranty department to send my game in for replacement. I was really not wanting to do that, but if it lets me play the game I'll wait, it'll give me more time to finish a few more playthroughs on ME2.

I found two such items. Let's see if it helps!

I had this problem occasionally as well. I have the game installed to my HDD, so when the message came up after I switched discs I just opened the tray and closed it again - worked fine afterwards.

Removing the avatar items fixed the problem for me. It also seems to have fixed my random load freezes as well. Only time will tell. I do wonder where the corrupted avatar items came from, however.

I think they might have been the award items. I didn't see them as props or clothing for my avatar so that is my theory.
