I think the game was amazing until the ending it was like the run out of time and ideas and just threw some stuff into a ending that turned really bad :( so many thing you never got answered and legions death saving the geth was meaningless because you destory all tech and the hole alliance fleet and everyone gets destoryd by it the quarians had finally got there homeworld back and the geth are helping them and then this bioware why?
This is just what i think what do you guys think?

I couldn't pick an ending, so I stopped playing there. Standing on the Citadel/Crucible is where Mass Effect ends for me.

^^ That's where it could have, and should have ended.

Why does everyone think if you pick the destroy option the Alliance fleet is destroyed?

It destroys all AI, not all machinery.

I don't wanna talk about it...I thought I was gonna play this game for the rest of the semester, I thought I was gonna replay all 3 ME games during the summer, those plans have changed.

Kills EDI which is why I didn't choose it. It was a lose/lose no matter what you did. I though Shep would live if I picked control, and the kid never mentioned destroying the Relays. I Should have ended with Shep and Anderson on the Citadel.

why did the kid let him choose to begin with?  I mean he said the reapers were his, why would he just randomly decide to let some organic either destroy them or control them?

The whole game feels a little like Dragon Age Origins in a lot of ways.

1. There's a large threat intent on destroying everything.
2. You go around people-pleasing to make alliances to face said threat.
3. You lead your combined army into battle and can die or survive given certain criteria being met.

And it feels like Dragon Age II in the sense that you don't get a lot of information about what happens afterward.

The last 5 minutes of the game destroyed countless of hours of Mass Effect gaming..I was enjoying the game up until then.. JEEZ .. Bioware had ruined the game with these endings...on top of what I said before I feel that ME3 has no reason to replay the game...

I picked the synthetic unison ending. While I didn't -hate- it as much as others seem to, I don't see any reason in replaying the games. I feel rather depressed over the whole thing, honestly. Just depressed.

I hope some form of dlc fixes it.

I know ¬_¬

The hell we work hard on gathering all the help we can get and stuff. End wars, cure the genophage if it all goes down the sink anyway one way or another? I mean, WHY THE RELAYS?

Destruction ending should destroy the reapers, nothing more. And that **** kid should be a little more flexible... solution? dafuq, just give me the killswitch and you better not kill any geth or AI or other synthetic that is not a damn reaper, that's the new solution.

This should be the "best" or "good" outcomes

Destruction:

Kill Reapers (Geth, AI and other Synthetics alive)
Earth saved
Shepard lives
Energy wave does not make joker fly away since it's unnecessary.
Keep relays

Control:

Control Reapers. Reapers withdraw.
Earth saved.
Shepard sacrifices him/herself to control the reapers.
Energy wave does not make joker fly away since it's unnecessary.
Keep relays

Synthesis:

Reapers withdraw.
Earth saved.
Make the new DNA but Shepard lives.
Energy wave does not make joker fly away since it's unnecessary.
Keep relays.

Tch, that's BioWares 'wtf' idea. Well, one of them.

Joker went into the relays supposedly to save EDI's life, relay was collasping around him as he flew in it, then crash, cant evade it. Wake up in the Bahama planet. Technecially the Normandy crashed, it wasnt destroyed.

Still, again; 'wtf' moment when it crashed. I suppose trying to save EDI's life makes sense though.

That make sense if you chose the "destroy all synthetic life" ending. Thing is the Normandy crashed in the exact same circumstances no matter what ending you choose.

Besides, how could Joker possible know that EDI's life is at stake?
