I can't imagine buying any DLC otherwise.

I'm going to re-post this basic idea in a few other topic headers, but here's the run-down Bioware:
90 hours of my time + about $200 of my hard earned money = a standard heroic sacrifice ending with less side character info than Fallout 3...
You had me until the last fight....
...now I doubt I'll buy a new release from you again.
Period.

I already paid 80 bucks. I'm not paying more just so I can get a semi-decent ending.
If they patch this with good endings, then I'll purchase whatever DLC they give us. Until then, I'm not giving either Bioware or EA another cent. :\\

If it were just literally a new ending. Replay the last 5 minutes of the game & get a new cutscene, no. I wouldn't pay for that. I would watch it on youtube. I seriously doubt they'd do this, anyway.
If it were a real DLC set soon after the ending. Say you control one of the Normandy crew members, can see everyone's reaction, use the QED to talk to earth. Or, similarly, play a recently recovered Shepard on Earth. Then yes, I'd pay for that.

At the same time, why are you going to make me pay for an ending that really should have been in the game already?
So glad I play on PC..xD

However, the endings are so atrocious, random, and absolutely absurd that Bioware owes it to their fans to own up to this mistake and make it up to the fans who have been loyal fans since before the first game even came out.
Please Bioware. Give us back the original ending.

EDIT: I don't care how you do it, please get the original writers back and fix this. If you hadn't resorted to this last minute abrupt change, you would have "had your name written in the stars." Instead, any fan who knows anything about the series cannot in good faith support this new direction.
Please. Please. Please.
We beg you.

Oh, screw that. Screw that right in its nickel-and-dime poop chute. I bought each and every ME game brand spanking new, and all the DLC to boot. Even those stupid clothing DLC's for ME2 (I had MSP to spare at the time). And ME merch. I figure at this point they owe me, and if EA can't be arsed to stop jerkin the gerkin over their giant pile of money, and let BW out of the gimp-box, long enough to spot me the ending I freakin' deserve as a long time, loyal and die-hard Mass Effect fan as free DLC, I'm done with EA.

If they did do this they would win a good deal of their fans back.

If they did all that then I'd buy it.
Personally I think all that should be a patch though. If I have to buy it it means Im not buying any new games til after they come out and I read reviews (from actual players not paid off gaming news sites). If they patch it with something good then my faith will be restored. I'll go back to SWTOR and come back to the Bioware fan fold.

And I absolutely DESPISE the idea DLC. That should tell you something.
Hey. A thought just occurred to me. What if that was Bioware's plan all to make sure that their next few DLC's sold well.
Devious little bastards if so...

But they better have more in there. Like a bunch of "we're sorry" little things.

So here's the thing: it took me 40 hours to beat ME3. For the first 39 hours and 50 minutes, it was the greatest game I had ever played. Bar none. And that's saying something, as I only bother playing a game if I think it has real value, and Bioware games always do. But the last 10 minutes left me hollow. I was there at the beginning with ME1, and this was a moment I had been waiting for four years to come. Literally. And, unbelievably, Bioware missed.
So: if Bioware was to come out with a new DLC that assuages the bitterness of this conclusion (which I honestly think is unlikely), would you be willing to pay for it? How much would you pay? I, for one, truly don't want to pay a cent for something that by rights should have come in the complete package to begin with, BUT I am far too invested at this point not to pass it up and likely would pay through the nose for some closure. Thoughts?
I know EXACTLY what you mean. I'm going through my second playthrough right now and really, that ending was something else... I mean.. yeah.. on "Destruction" Shepard lives, you see him breath under the rubble.. Synthesis.. you're.. decoded and your body dissapears? Then control... the hell... What's that? I become some sort of what Legion did? dafuq...
If there was any DLC that would change the last 10 minutes of the game.. I'd buy it..
I gotta say though, the only two things i didn't like are..
Synthesis: Your body is gone. End of story. Plus, the relays are gone.
Destruction: Even the geth? EDI? No thanks, i didn't go all through Rannoch to save both races and even end their war to end up destroying the geth.. the hell is wrong with you bioware? you introduced Legion and the definition of heretics and this is the outcome? Plus, relays are gone too.
I guess this is the best ending if only the reapers were destroyed. Not the geth, not EDI, not the relays.
Control: It shouldn't even be an option. This whole story was about destroying the reapers.
