With these endings, anything else seems like it would be a waste of time.X-Frame wrote...
The only DLC I would consider is a fix for the ending.
"Boy, sure glad I did this so I can die and lose all my friends later."

Would I pay? I'd be willing to. In fact, I'd be happy if they republished the ENTIRE game and went with the original Mass Effect Universe ending. I would rebuy my two collectors editions (one physical and one digital).
However, the endings are so atrocious, random, and absolutely absurd that Bioware owes it to their fans to own up to this mistake and make it up to the fans who have been loyal fans since before the first game even came out.
Please Bioware. Give us back the original ending.

EDIT: I don't care how you do it, please get the original writers back and fix this. If you hadn't resorted to this last minute abrupt change, you would have "had your name written in the stars." Instead, any fan who knows anything about the series cannot in good faith support this new direction.
Please. Please. Please.
We beg you.
The original ending sounds awesome, but I understand why they didn't go with it.
There's no way to continue the franchise in this sense.
BUT, it does explain things better.

I also think, however, that it should be free because honestly, for the first time I feel like the developers actually owe us something (this is quite a new feeling for me).

You're joking right? The original ending set up the perfect way to continue the franchise, this ending removes all threat and puts an end to it. The first ending sets up the conflict "okay, the Reapers have been taken care of, now we have to figure out how to solve this Dark Energy problem"

We're not called "****s" for nothing.
At the same time, if a bioware employee broke down and started yelling at fans, I would understand it. They worked hard on this game, and I imagine right now for at least a few bioware employees, saying that the Ending of Mass Effect ruined the entire franchise is kind of like a slap in the face.

The Ending A, gave a real, viable, choice that kept Shepard's Integrity in tact. You don't just 'fight the reapers tooth and nail to the dying breath of your friends only to take ultimatems from the one who RULES the reapers that would strand and/or betray every civilization in the galaxy that trusted you.
A: They are all stuck at earth, Shepard brought them to smash the reapers then betrayed them. Tali will never have her home on her home world. Jeff and the Normandy will never see humanity again. The Geth are Either Dead (Due to earlier choice) or just as trapped and the least of the Victims of 3 selfish options.
B: I want that final confrontation with Harbinger. "This Hurts you Shepard." He was your Nemesis, you never beat him. He KNOWS you! Calls you by name frequently in ME2. Yet here he may as well have been backfed and destroyed. Why does Harbinger know Shepard? Why does Harbinger Care? What makes him personally interested in Shepard even after dead?! There are so many unknowns there.
C: I want to see the end results of my choices after the war. I want to see what's left standing, what is going on after the dust settles, I want to see (If Shepard Died.) the tear stained faces of his loved ones who he saved. The lives he impacted and the Legacy of my choices a bit. Or (If Shepard Lived), Shepard's legacy. Possibly as the new Human Councilor. (And most badass human in the galaxy.) Along with an in game copy of Badass Monthly with Shepard on the front!

After my jets have cooled, I think I can cope with the ending itself. What I can't cope with is not seeing the aftermath of my choice. I want to at least glimpse what happened to all my crew members and to the other races. The cinematic ending as it is doesn't answer enough questions or close enough holes to feel very satisfying.

You're going to love it then when Dragon Age 3 releases with a dumpster of an ending and you get to pay an extra 10 dollars per additional ending.
Wait, even better. We can go onto a scale.
Silver - For 5 dollars you get a slightly improved, but still largely depressing ending. This is to go along with your real life since if all you can afford is 5 dollars, LOL@U.
Gold - For 10 dollars you get a neutral ending, it won't blow your socks off but it isn't a train wreck either.
Platinum - For 25 dollars you get the first real happy ending. It isn't spectacular, but at least we don't poop in a sock hand it to you and act like we just did you a favor.
Diamond - For 40 dollars this is the proper ending we cut from the game so we could repackage it. It covers all the bases, brings closure to the story and is in general in line with the kind of excellence you got to expect from us in the past!
That would be disapointing... if I cared about DA3 at all.

The original ending was that the reapers were trying to find a way to stop the spread of dark energy that would consume everything. they harvested civilizations to become one "nation to try and stop the dark energy.
then supposedly (IDK if its true) they leaked the story and was changed to machines kill organics so we kill organics with machines to make more machines lol my mind is still spinning with that one lol

Your squadmates would find you and bring you to a medic. They tell you about how the Crucible failed and they start to panic. You stand up out of the bed, still injured, and give another epic speech. You rally the forces and do another 2 or so hours worth of missions on Earth focusing on getting to Harbinger and taking him out. It could have moments ALA end of ME2 with assigning squadmates to assist you.
The way you stop Harbinger is by getting on-board and destroying/disabling the mass effect core. While onboard, we could have some interesting sections where Harby tries to indoctrinate you and your current squad members. Your relationships with them determine their willpower. At one point one of them will turn and you will either have talk them out of it or kill them. If their willpower is strong and you have a strong bound with them, you can talk them out of it. If not, then you are forced to kill them.
Once you reach the core, you have one last difficult choice. Destroy the core, or Disable it. Destroying the mass effect core will sacrifice all of London and most of the UK. Or, you can sacrifice yourself or a squadmate (ALA Fallout 3) to go into the core and shut it down. With Harbinger gone and the Catalyst gone, the reaper forces are without a leader and become disorganized allowing the allied forces to start really hitting them hard. Your EMS determines how many Reaper forces are destroyed. If any remain, they return to dark space. Camera shows Earth in the state it's in. Que epilogue with screens and text explaining the state of the universe, credits roll, everyone's happy.
