Definitely not, and anyone who buys it is cheating themselves out of their own money. You pay Bioware/EA for their product expecting it to be complete, and they say they listen to the community to make their games since we're the ones buying it. Did they listen to the community? To a certain extent I think they did, but for the large part, they didn't. To many gaps regarding ME 2 companions, relationships not properly carrying over, an ending that's just horrific at best, and the game is FAR shorter than the other 2.

I wouldn't like paying for it, but I'd buy it.
I want to see Shepard in a house on Thessia or Illium and lots of little blue children with Liara.
Honestly I feel cheated. Shepard defeated Saren warned everyone about the Reapers (ignored but she kept trying), united with an enemy survived a suicide mission keeping everyone alive, united every species and ended century long wars, did every single mundane side mission, stayed faithful to her love interest, saved an entire species(multiple times).
To only die, and hurt Organics/Synthetics in some way or another.
If anyone deserves a happy ending it's Commander Shepard. :crying:

Would I pay? I'd be willing to. In fact, I'd be happy if they republished the ENTIRE game and went with the original Mass Effect Universe ending. I would rebuy my two collectors editions (one physical and one digital).

However, the endings are so atrocious, random, and absolutely absurd that Bioware owes it to their fans to own up to this mistake and make it up to the fans who have been loyal fans since before the first game even came out.

Please Bioware. Give us back the original ending.
http://www.ign.com/b...lers.250066288/

EDIT: I don't care how you do it, please get the original writers back and fix this. If you hadn't resorted to this last minute abrupt change, you would have "had your name written in the stars." Instead, any fan who knows anything about the series cannot in good faith support this new direction.
Please. Please. Please.
We beg you.

The original ending sounds awesome, but I understand why they didn't go with it.
There's no way to continue the franchise in this sense.

BUT, it does explain things better.

You're joking right?  The original ending set up the perfect way to continue the franchise, this ending removes all threat and puts an end to it.  The first ending sets up the conflict "okay, the Reapers have been taken care of, now we have to figure out how to solve this Dark Energy problem"

What's this original ending people are speaking about?

The original ending was that the reapers were trying to find a way to stop the spread of dark energy that would consume everything. they harvested civilizations to become one "nation to try and stop the dark energy.
then supposedly (IDK if its true) they leaked the story and was changed to machines kill organics so we kill organics with machines to make more machines lol my mind is still spinning with that one lolImage IPB

So what if it was leaked? It was better.

If we do get DLC endings, there better be a big time "we're sorry" thrown in there, in the form of staying in control of shepard post reaper-invasion, on rannoch with tali.

This. Do a Broken Steel, where we can continue after the credits and deal with the aftermath while solving the immediate crises stemming from the ending.

the drama was STRONG, and just felt perfect, right up until anderson died and shep cried, then the radio call for shep and shepard passes out, EVERYTHING with the story after that exact point in time and space went to utter poop.

You see. This was all brilliantly planned by EA. Release the game with a horrible, bad ending. ****** people off, then release the true ending showing more closure based on the player's choices throughout the series, and the game. Yup I see it coming, and is apparent that everyone and their mother would buy it too.

I wouldn't give the price tag a second glance before clicking purchase. I can't even listen to the soundtrack without being reminded of how injured I felt after the ending, let alone start up another game.

I completely agree with this. I would pre-order that DLC tomorrow if it was announced, even if it was released far from now.
The soundtrack is amazing. "I was lost without you" just tears me to bits.

Depending of the DLC content. If its just something like mass relays shooting purple space magic, instead of R/G/B one, it is certain, that i will not.
One thing for certain, is that i will not buy any DLC, until the endings are rectified.
