Being asked to pay would be utter bullsh*t.  I already payed for epic conclusion.

If they did... maybe. I've lost a lot of faith in Bioware as of late. Giving everyone a new set of endings, hopefully based on community feedback, at a price would still feel like I was getting stabbed in the back. I would get a priced ending dlc only if it gave proper closure, and as stated they listen to the community when writing them. But it'd be very likely in that event I wouldn't buy any other dlc, or future game.

I will buy all the ME3 DLC based on how much I've enjoyed the game itself.  However, I hope Bioware doesn't reneg on its endings.  They shouldn't do a "re-write" no matter how much people complain.  Stick to your creative vision!

I would welcome DLC that gave FURTHER exposition on the three choices, and the catalyst itself.

I would pay for it.. even though I don't feel like I shouldn't have to. Bioware failed with the ending. They butchered ME 2 and 3. That is my opinion though

New ending dlc is the only dlc that makes sense. Why the hell would I for example go take back Omega, when in the end, it's useless. Everyone in Omega would end up starving to death or die of thirst anyways when their mass relay goes kaput.

Exactly this, I would, shouldn't have too but I'm left empty after an emotional journey.

I would pay for it. Whether I like it or not it was Bioware's right to end it any way they pleased.

However with such an overwhelming negative reaction to it I'm hoping they will value the satisfaction on their loyal fans highly enough to offer us a new/altered/extended take on it, and I would gladly pay for that.

Yes in a heartbeat.

I would gladly pay for an ending that gives you more choices, and there is no need for a disney fairy tale, but just something less... depressing. And of course a bad ending where the reapers win. Something that doesn't involve space-magic and the feeling that everything you did in the previous game had no effect on the final outcome.

So here's the thing: it took me 40 hours to beat ME3. For the first 39 hours and 50 minutes, it was the greatest game I had ever played. Bar none. And that's saying something, as I only bother playing a game if I think it has real value, and Bioware games always do. But the last 10 minutes left me hollow. I was there at the beginning with ME1, and this was a moment I had been waiting for four years to come. Literally. And, unbelievably, Bioware missed.

So: if Bioware was to come out with a new DLC that assuages the bitterness of this conclusion (which I honestly think is unlikely), would you be willing to pay for it? How much would you pay? I, for one, truly don't want to pay a cent for something that by rights should have come in the complete package to begin with, BUT I am far too invested at this point not to pass it up and likely would pay through the nose for some closure. Thoughts?

Would I buy it? Yes. I'd probably be willing to pay up to the twenty bucks for it.

But, Mass Effect is a big deal for me. Bigger than Dragon Age, bigger than TOR. So, I'd buy it, but I wouldn't resubscribe to TOR. I wouldn't buy DA3 (new, I might pick it up second hand, or when it's on sale a year after being released). If they want my money back, they need to prove that they understand that they violated the reader-writer contract (as well as committing some fairly egregious false advertising) and patch the ending. I'm not sure they could get the VA back, especially for something that would be released for free, but a couple of dozen lines of dialogue from Meer and Hale (and whoever voiced space god) could get you an okay result, which could be cleaned up with an epilogue like DA:O, which would come mostly from their writing/art staff.

It's feasible, but I don't think it's going to happen. I'm pretty sure they've decided this is Art ™ and we're just too stupid to understand its great genius.

If there would be a DLC for a new ending, it should be for free.

It wouldn't make any sense for us to pay for something that should have been there in the first place...

Yes I would buy this dlc, if it was a significant improvement on the current ending.

I shouldn't have to. New endings should be released for free, no matter how much work goes into them, because releasing such an amazing product with such an asinine ending is abysmal.

Yes. In a heart beat. I spent 80+ bucks on this thing. A 10$ DLC to fix the ending would be well worth it, imo.

I already bought Broken Steel. And that was for a game with a storyline I was nowhere NEAR as invested in.

again the "disney"-word. in what disney story does galactic civilization get pushed to the brink of extinction and billions of sentient beings die horribly. this is something that wouldn't change even in a relatively "happy" ending.

but to stay on topic, a set of different outcomes based on your choices like in me2 or da:o would be what the game and the players deserve. da:o even more than me2 cause if you want you can see da:o as a concluded story where every ending makes sense and leaves you with some closure, despite the possibility of a sequel.

simply epilogues to the crappy endings they already presented wouldn't be enough for me tbh, i would feel kinda betrayed again.

The thing is... you SHOULDN'T pay for a new ending. It should be given to us free, so we can at least enjoy the end like we payed for in the first place...

I would buy it as well, in a heartbeat.

My faith in Bioware will have waned substantially, and I'll be more wary in the future, but I need closure for this story that I've invested so much in. I'd be willing to pay for it. For sure.
