I had to know as the final mission was comming up so I found the endings on youtube.

I would pay for better ones.

OMG. Whats the point of telling a story if the good guys cant win?

The good guys can win...its possible...they killed a few reapers in ME3..why cant they kill them all? It says no conventinal means but with enough gunfire they could win.
....the reapers say in the beginning that the cycle must go on...and every ending basically either destroys the world or ensures that the cycle will go on.

So the story is about one cycle and in 50,000 years another shepard will show up and fail again?

Were playing this game.....it was suppose to END with shepard...and yes in all of the endings it litterally does end with shepard...but not in any way that would actually make anyone on earth or in that universe happy for what happened.

It basically destroys all meanings of hope. It basically sends the message that "resistance is futile"...had shepard known all this in ME1 he would of let Saren and Sovergn continue their plans....their is no way he would of kept fighting if he knew how pointless it was. Their is no hope or salvation whatsoever.

BIOWARE after 3 games I want something to give me hope and salivation....is your message that the universe is just dispair? Please recall the ending...it is that bad.

all the people who were indoctornated make a lot of sense with an ending like that, They all turned out to have the right idea. It is all for nothing anyways..!!!

Saren was right! All the people who were indoctranated were right no matter what ending you choose their is NO hope or justice or salivation for the universe...

Humans, by our nature, are curious. That's probably why. :)

... I spent the entire last months playing through ME1 and ME2 to the best outcome possible in both games... I did, and I worked my ass off to get them while waiting in anticipation for ME3.

All that effort, gone in a few mouse clicks, the reapers pissed me off and I wanted them dead so you can guess what I did. HOWEVER! I had to die and never see the crew again, and I had no say in it.

I chose to join synthetic with organic, and I don't feel like everything was a waste.

But I would appreciate an ending DLC. Please and thank you.

Perhaps because of where the game autosaves?  It saves right after the very end, so unless you want to do the whole last mission over to see the end, you don't have a lot of options.  I don't know, just saying.

I had hope, but they were right and I was wrong. I'm man enough to admit it. This was truly a terrible way to end such a great series.

the endings are so messed because Drew Karpyshyn the lead writer and one of the best authors on Sci-Fi novels is no longer with Bioware...

Whats the point of telling a story if the good guys cant win?

It’s worse than that. It’s not just any good guys. You, as a gamer, spend money for a story where you can’t win.
