...and settle in for a bit of a wait. While I know many of us are chomping at the bit hoping for a quick response to our concerns regarding the ending to the game, odds are very good that we're not going to see any kind of official response until at least a couple days after the game finishes its staggered release.
For those who don't know, the game came out on the 6th in the americas, the 8th in austrailia, the 9th in europe, and isn't due out in japan until the 15th. If we're going to get any kind of official response to these things, I suspect it won't be until at least the week of the 19th - and that's an early estimate.
So take a deep breath, settle down, and let's see what happens.
Everyone take a deep breath...

I think we have been perfectly calm. If you think this is angry, you weren't around for the DA2 flaming. That was epic Internet rage at it's highest form, the likes of which still grace the halls of Internet infamy (or fame, if that's your preference). This is a bunch of genuinely puzzled and disenchanted fans. Point is, flaming has been at a minimum, most people are composing complete sentences, and mods are not having to lock every other thread. Plus, man-giraffe-dog hasn't made his appearance yet. That's when you need to tell everyone to take a deep breath. :-)

Yep. Cathartic venting and commiserating on the off-chance BioWare will actually give a damn. I don't expect they will, but honestly, no one else around me "gets it".
Just like any other emotional trigger, I feel the need to talk it out with people in the same boat so I know that I'm not alone. I need the support right now

I think there's a "Feeling betrayed by the ending? Come get a hug!" thread still floating around the front page.

If the rage continues for over a week until the 19th, I think it would be safe to say that Bioware will ****** their collective pants over it.

As long as you post constructively about your grievances that is what is important, Don't don't don't resort to threats, name-calling, and tantrums. Trust me when I say that won't help change any minds.

The chatter over the ending is becoming name calling and tantrums, not to mention the hyperbole of comparing it to a break up.
