How are you going to stop yourselves from spoiling the game? I mean.. the next couple of days on this site, on many other sites.. they will be cheering/groaning about dragon age, people will be talking about cool plot elements.. about amazing stuff thats happened


just how are you.. going to stop yourselves being subjected to it all?

I'm avoiding my friend who will have the game before me and (since my strategy guide is arriving earlier than my CE) I've threatened her with spoilerage if she talks about the plot to me (and I will find something I already know about to spoil for her). She knows I'd do it, too.

Also, I am avoiding GameFAQs like the plague, and possibly this board if people cannot keep their mouths shut or post on the spoiler forum (ruining the game for everyone is not cool, seriously).

It's out on 5th here. I'm HOPING the stores will show mercy and release it at the 4th(Becouse it's dumb to hold it back once they got it in the stores, and it's already out in another country).

I really hope I've not spoiled it a little already: I love RPGs, especially Bioware RPGs, having played through BG2, NWN, ME. The difference with them is that I dived straight in, without knowing anything about the story, characters etc.



BG2 was an amazing experience being my first RPG and going through it learning about the characters, mechanics etc. It really put me in the characters position. It really is great finding a companion, not knowing their personality, class, or even name before meeting them in the game. Don't get me wrong I'm sure I'll love it, it's a small point. I have DAO pre-ordered, but I hope my prior knowledge doesn't sway me too much.
