I felt mentally exhausted by the end of it.. the sight of one more Banshee would probably have reduced me to tears.. luckily I just made a run for the console, and made it with around 12% health left.
I REALLY REALLY hate Banshees!

Me too! I had never fought so hard in Mass Effect before, and I couldn't believe that after I killed 3 Banshees, more would arrive to take their place. When the call came in, there were 4 Banshees with pretty good health still wandering. And Marauders everywhere. I made a mad dash for the console with less than half my health. The silly Spacebar kept putting me into crouch mode instead of activating the console, and I yelled at the computer as the Banshees screamed and charged closer, but finally, it worked! The missiles launched, and it was all over. I was mentally drained.
I don't normally hate Banshees - in previous battles, they numbered in one or two, I could usually defeat them with conventional weapons and some biotic combo. When there were 4-5 at once, I had to use all my mental powers, every trick I knew to stay alive. I had never gone into pause mode so many times, ordering Kaidan and Liara to run like crazy as we threw every biotic combo we had at them. EDI's (gifted) Decoy may have helped a little too.
Think I definitely got my money's worth in that battle

I'd agree with that. One of the best battles I've experienced.

Me 2. I died first because Sheperd couldn't climb out of the hole close to the red phone booth and was hit by the laser. Then I cleared about 3 banshees and god knows how many brutes and mauruders. About 3 or 4 more banshees charges in. I was out of ammo, squard mates and medi gels and almost started to cry and throw away the controller. That's when I realized I just need to the control panel. I then adrenaline rushed to the control panel. Then Sheperd took cover instead of activating the missle. I was seriously panicking...
I don't know how many times I am going to die as a adept. I guess for infiltrators this would be really easy.

Died by laser the first time too. Cleared out 3 Banshees, EDI's call came but there was one Banshee hovering close to the launcher. I didn't dare risk a run, thought I'd kill them all from cover first, since I had many medigel packs left. 10 seconds later and a sprint towards the next building... zzap! I was smarter the second timewngmv wrote...

To quote someone earlier, there was this feeling of desperation in the final run, the nail-biting tension, then elation as you realize you made it after all. It tops the crazy dash I remember in ME2's Collector Base, ignoring hellfire and bullets, to save Tali as she reached the end of the poisonous overheating tube.wngmv wrote...

My Shepard was a Vanguard, not too different from your Adept, as I rarely used Charge against Banshees, but I survived. I hope you did too
