The ending tainted the whole series for me. I don't think I can even play 1 and 2 again. Why bother.
Same, I am done. Looking for a new game not made by BW or EA, they ruine dthe game for me with th elast 15 minutes of ME3

I myself have 3 shepards that I was really looking forward to experiencing ME3 with. Since I had believed that each ending to ME3 would be wildly (or at least substantially) different and unique based on your choices over the course of the series, I had expected the replay value for ME3 to be through the roof. Now, having just completed my "canon" Shepard's journey, its going to be a LONG while before I'm able to boot up any of my other saves.
I just can't play through again, knowing what lies at the end. Which is a tragedy, because the journey there, the other 99.5% of the game, was so incredible.
What about you guys? Any brave souls diving right back in, knowing what lies ahead?
My Shepard will just do whatever Child Entity tells him to do, regardless of personal motivations or choice history.
If I could have turned my back on the Child, let the fleet I gathered kill the Reapers, and reunited with my companions, I would have been 'okay' with the end of the galactic civilization I came to know and love. All in one it was too much "split second decision" in a game that was theoretically about gradual developments and culmination of choices.

If nothing is done with ME3 I'll be sending my collector's edition back to Bioware, they can keep my money and my copy of the game as a momento, they won't see me buying anything else from them.

But I'll probably replay it once Bioware responds to all of the outrage and/or discusses the future of the Mass Effect series as we know it.
I post/lurk on quite a few forums, and it's the same thing as this forum, everybody is complaining about the endings.

Same here... Never thought I'd say that about Mass Effect. I don't think I'll be playing the campaign again...QwibQwib wrote...

It's obviouse bioware was nieve enough to think character outcomes in missions involving said characters was the only closure needed and after that who cares. I may replay to a point but I'll never replay it completely like previous mass effect games, only until a certain character arc is over for this one.

For those of us that feels cheated from a 'happily-ever-after' ending, there is a website where you can read and/or publish your own endings, called fanfiction.net. Helped me from depressing too much anyhow...

I was really looking forward to bringing those entirely different gameplay experiences into ME3. What different consequences and endings would I get between a Renegade who put Udina on the council and let some squadmates die during the suicide mission, and a Renegade who put Anderson on the council and didn't let anyone die? Would my choice to cheat on Liara affect the support she was willing to offer? Oh boy, what major consequences would there be for letting the Rachni queen live or die, since that was a decision that the game developers purposefully made so agonizing in the game?
But no. A 100% Renegade who never once said or did anything nice throughout three games gets pretty much the exact same choices as a 100% Paragon who never said or did anything mean throughout three games. Why on earth would I have any desire to play through with such vastly different characters if I know that the decisions will hardly mean anything during the game (The rachni queen decision doesn't change much, for example. It's also possible to cure the Krogan no matter my decision in ME2. And there are the smaller things, like the fact that no matter what I did in ME2, I can still get my LI from ME1 to forgive me, help me, and be with me again.). And why in hell would I care to play all the way through with such vastly different characters only to be asked in the end, "Okay great. All those choices... nice going, good on you. Now, choose red, blue, or green." no matter what I had done.
I'm not complaining about the endings themselves, because that's for an entirely different thread. What I'm complaining about is that all of my choices were rendered meaningless because in the end I get to choose between Coke, Pepsi, or RC Cola regardless of my past.
