After chilling out a bit I decided to give a try to my Vanguard save who was a Renegade and had several major decisions different from my Soldier (Paragon), all of them played through ME1 and ME2.

The thing is, after finishing Mars the feeling of "nothing you do really matters" kept knocking in my head, and I just couldn't play further.

Yes, sadly, this is the end of Mass Effect series for me. The franshise is dead for me and no way I can enjoy the pleasure of that universe anymore.

I was ready to burn through 1 and 2 again (1 being difficult to return to from a mechanical standpoint). After the ending I don't want to play anything especially Mass Effect (any of them) I'm just emotionally drained. Further why would I play again so I get the exact same choice with the exact same outcome?

Well for me, the fun in the game is seeing how things play out differently on the journey to the end. The ending is rather inconsequential to that decision. They did such a great job of making the Normandy a joy to keep seeing what everyone was doing. I laughed when I walked in on Tali and Garrus. Now I want to see what happens with my Tali romance shep.

I have multiple Shepards, and I will absolutely play through the game again. Many times; there's all sorts of things I discovered my second time through that I didn't the first time for example.

Three days later, I still can't bring myself to play through it all again. I can't really care about anything I do knowing it'll always come down to the same three utterly depressing options. I hope I'll eventually be able to see the dialogue options from another perspective, but it'll probably be a result of forcing myself to get through it.

Despite the ending which confused and aggravated me, I will play through the games again. I didn't let the ending affect my journey to the that point, and I still wouldn't let it affect me. Yeah, I know what happens, but the journey of each game and all the fun I had is still there. At least I still see some of my decisions such as seeing past characters from the first game popping up in the second and third game, and hearing news stories about my actions on Terra Nova, and etc...

I played ME1 about 7 times, ME2 about 10 times, and I don't want to play ME3 again... Why? Because I lost hope.

I would. If my decisions mattered in ME2 or ME1. They don't. There are always Rachni, someone is always curing the genophage. Damn even Mordin didn't listen to me saying he was right making it.

Why should I play the SAME game more than once?

Absolutely not. I was fully expecting to play the game, hell, the entire series... several more times, trying different choices, different romances... But after this horrible ending...

I will never play another Bioware game again.

Thank you Bioware, for stealing hundreds of hours of my life and money before shafting me up the ___.

Not yet, since my face can't get through. Waiting for a fix and some explaining of the endings. (like Normandy leaving...)

Not with this ending. This was just brutal mind rape. I love the series so much. I highly anticipated the third part of this trilogy. And then...this. God, I can't believe I took the time for THIS.

Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: Hell No.

I finished the game on Friday night. I spent all day yesterday trying to overcome feelings of depression and anger over the ending. I tried starting over from ME1... to experience again the greatness that this series was without the ME3 ending. I was able to play until I picked up Liara (my LI from ME3) and had to stop. Right now, in it's current form, I can't see myself playing through the series again to end without knowing what happened to the characters I spent 100+ hours learning about.

However, there's a post on this forum that has greatly eased the feelings that overcame me after the ending:

- Was the ending a hallucination?

Even if it's not true... it still helps me come to terms with how this series concludes.

Of course I will. With all the eleven Shepard that still sits on my PC.

The thing is, the whiners should play it through again too.
I get it, you don't like the ending. But the imports really affect the joruney to get there. I didn't hear much whining about the whole game. So you could find enjoyment in that.

I have 3 Shepards. The only one I really connected to was the one with Kaidan as my LI. I started both that Shepard and another Shepard, switching here and there. But the first Shepard really connected with me. It felt right. It felt good.

I'll replay it for that Shepard and save before the Cerberus base so if I ever want to, I can just replay the romance scene or if there is any future DLC that I'll buy, then I can easily play it without having to worry about going to Earth.

Im shelving my mass effect. I just feel that so much effort was put in to the game, great combat, great story, everything. But then BAM, alll of a sudden. day 1 DLC, in-game purchaseable ITEMS, and a very lazy ending and endlessly glitchy multiplayer. I just feel cheated

I have 5 Shepards. And no, I don't see the point in wasting my time completing all of their death marches. Goodbye Bioware. At the moment I'm just angry at myself for not buying a physical copy of the game, can't refund my digital one :(

No. I had two main Sheps and a few alternates but with the endings as they are there is no point and no value to get from their differences. In the end none of what they or you choose to do matters.

played 2 times already, even finished second time with a random choice at the end. Tbh, the game is amazing right up until the god child appears, after it, it's just bull.

Releasing energy of crucible destroys mass relays, it means the end of any life in the system with such, it was established in "Arrival". The Ending with the "Destoy"-Option is even worse, because you do detonate 2 (TWO) mass relays, one even in the earth orbit. Earth is screwed, fleet around it too. Those are hard facts. If you just reject the whole "MAGIC" BS.

I have several Shepards. Am I going to import and play all of them? Depends. My Kaidan and Garrus romance playthroughs I might go with, but I certainly will *not* go through that freaking ending again. I'll save and leave them be before that. My Jacob and Thane romance playthroughs won't even get touched, what's the damn point when those romances get so horribly handled?

Unless Bioware fixes the crap 3 endings i will not play again.

I don't want to feel bad again by reaching the "3 colors endings" where not a single one of my choices mattered...

When I beat 1 & 2 I went right back in with another character immediately. I still can't bring myself to start this game up again. I had 6 Shepards ready for import, but have only played thru one.

Woah, man. Me too. Emotional bro-five?
