The dialog was tolerable. The endings were not.PoliteAssasin wrote...
For those of you who say no, explain why not. The endings? The lack of dialogue control?

And I think once I get back into the action I'll be reminded of how good everything else is, and enjoy it until the end.

You guys are talking about the endings, I'm having a hard time playing my second playthrough with a different Shepard because he's essentially railroaded into the same character my previous playthrough was. With the linear auto dialogue it's hard enough to replay it. The endings just make it even worse, but the journey to the endings is harder when 90% of what your character says is exactly the same.

I also agree with this sentiment. The endings completely fubar the trilogy for me but the auto dialogue was a major letdown as well.

I just can't believed I've put so much time and money into this. I mean I can believe it because it was an amazing series, but the last ten minutes of the third game completely ruined the entire franchiese for me.
I mean why would I ever play an MMO, RTS, another shooter, action role-play set in the mass effect universe when I know what horrible ending the entire universe has? The thing is they just didn't end Shepard's story they ended EVERYONE's story from being in any kind of space opera.
What aboutt he millions of soldiers of all the different races you brought to fight the Reaper left? They all stuck on earth now? And earth can produce all the food to feed them? And how does this kid talking to his grandpa not have met any of their decendants?

The ending tainted the whole series for me. I don't think I can even play 1 and 2 again. Why bother.
Sadly, I'm the same way. I'm not even able to bring myself to continue playing Mass Effect 3 after learning of the endings (they were sadly spoiled for me, but, in hindsight I'm glad for that) and I have no desire to continue on with my third character either. Not much point now.

The endings are a bit bearable for me, cause my squad/LI died along with me so we're together again.I keep trying to console myself about the auto dialogue though. Needless to say I'm not winning, maybe because there's no excuse.

The auto dialogue did bother me a little and the fact that there wasn't neutral options anymore. I can only see me playing this game two times.. 1 paragon and 1 renegade.

I just... I really can't. Why bother? When nothing you've done at all matters at the ending... Why play it again?
Maybe if I end up feeling a bit better a week for now I'll try again to see how another romance goes. Outside of that? I can't say I have any motivation.

http://cheezburger.com/View/5953862400 that pretty much sums up my experience.
Imagine the most awesome rollercoaster you can, now imagine the track ends in a brick wall.
As far as im concerned my shep died trying to make it to the citadel.

My two other Shepards are still in-progress in ME2... both near the end, but I won't bother, there's no point.
