If I do play through again it wont be for a long time. And I had 9 ME2 saves ready to go for this.

For those of you who say no, explain why not. The endings? The lack of dialogue control?

-Polite

The dialog was tolerable. The endings were not.

I'll likely do one more as a Renegade and then put it down for a long time unless I hear anything about a new ending DLC. Other than that, I won't be buying any DLC or playing it again. Ridiculous considering this is my FIRST Collector's Edition.

I might summon up the courage and see if it works.

And I think once I get back into the action I'll be reminded of how good everything else is, and enjoy it until the end.

For me, I say no. A second play through would be nothing but false hope. ME has always been about the hope to overcome incredible odds. That's gone. Death, death, and mostly death are the three choices at the end. Bleak is not what I want in video games, and it's not what i wanted from ME3. I realize that's my opinion, and that it is selfish, but there it is.

You guys are talking about the endings, I'm having a hard time playing my second playthrough with a different Shepard because he's essentially railroaded into the same character my previous playthrough was. With the linear auto dialogue it's hard enough to replay it. The endings just make it even worse, but the journey to the endings is harder when 90% of what your character says is exactly the same.

-Polite

I also agree with this sentiment. The endings completely fubar the trilogy for me but the auto dialogue was a major letdown as well.

Honestly no. What is the point? No matter what, I get a ****ty ending...  There is no point to playing multiplayer, ever getting DLC, or replay any of the series(I had five saves ready) Because no matter what the endings are always horrible.

I just can't believed I've put so much time and money into this. I mean I can believe it because it was an amazing series, but the last ten minutes of the third game completely ruined the entire franchiese for me.

I mean why would I ever play an MMO, RTS, another shooter, action role-play set in the mass effect universe when I know what horrible ending the entire universe has?  The thing is they just didn't end Shepard's story they ended EVERYONE's story from being in any kind of space opera.

What aboutt he millions of soldiers of all the different races you brought to fight the Reaper left? They all stuck on earth now? And earth can produce all the food to feed them? And how does this kid talking to his grandpa not have met any of their decendants?

The endings are a bit bearable for me, cause my squad/LI died along with me so we're together again. :P I keep trying to console myself about the auto dialogue though. Needless to say I'm not winning, maybe because there's no excuse.

Lol ryuAzai, you think you've got problems with 5 saves? I've got 20 full playthroughs from me1>me2. Each one unique. Sad thing is it seems they will all be the same in me3, endings, and personality.

I had several various characters (few para and a few rene) with different romance choices all taken through ME1 & 2 ready for ME3. I played it once however and now I am done with it...I see no reason to play to the end again for THAT. I may play a bit for the combat (which I do like) but I just don't see me doing ME3 again all the way to the end for three choices of "you and the people you care for are sol".

The ending tainted the whole series for me. I don't think I can even play 1 and 2 again. Why bother.

Sadly, I'm the same way. I'm not even able to bring myself to continue playing Mass Effect 3 after learning of the endings (they were sadly spoiled for me, but, in hindsight I'm glad for that) and I have no desire to continue on with my third character either. Not much point now.

The auto dialogue did bother me a little and the fact that there wasn't neutral options anymore. I can only see me playing this game two times.. 1 paragon and 1 renegade.

I can't.

I just... I really can't. Why bother? When nothing you've done at all matters at the ending... Why play it again?

Maybe if I end up feeling a bit better a week for now I'll try again to see how another romance goes. Outside of that? I can't say I have any motivation.

I'll play a NG+ eventually and stop at London. The other half dozen of my Sheps that are ready for import will fall to the side and wait. No point in playing them since the endings are the same.

Had 3 Sheps with diffirent LI's ready for import. But I simply can't do it. It will only aggravate my Post Ending Stress Disorder.

I've tried to import my femShep, but couldn't bear the thought of her dying a pointless ending in which the Reapers ultimately win.

I had something like 5 different sheps but after experiencing that ending I just can't do it. The entire series is ruined for me, I doubt i'll ever even be able to play another bioware game at all.

http://cheezburger.com/View/5953862400 that pretty much sums up my experience.

Imagine the most awesome rollercoaster you can, now imagine the track ends in a brick wall.

As far as im concerned my shep died trying to make it to the citadel.

I'm only going to do 1 replay, and then that'll pretty much be it.

No. I can't, I have a total of three Shepards, only one made it to the end of ME3 a day ago. I am still trying to recover from a mild case of depression out of the ending I saw for her since she was my main Shepard, and I can't fathom that what I decided to do had to be the final choice, it would feel cheap to load a previous game before the ending to "change it" and pretend that I had never made the first choice previously. What I chose depressed me big time, and the lack of an epilogue pissed me off. I don't know what happens to this and that race, this and that person, I don't know what happens to Earth, to humanity, to the overall state of organic life... we're left in the dark, it's like BioWare tells us "suck it down now, we got your money haha!".

My two other Shepards are still in-progress in ME2... both near the end, but I won't bother, there's no point.

No. It feels like an inevitable death march for any other Sheps I put through ME3.

I want to because most of the game was really good, but after finishing my first playthrough earlier today, I don't know that I'm going to be able to bring myself to do it for a good while. Now, I won't go as far to say I won't be able to play ME1 or ME2 anymore--in fact I kinda feel like playing ME2 again since it's so vastly superior overall at this point--but the endings really ruined it for me.I don't see a point in playing past Horizon.

I was going to start a NG+ as soon as I beat the game... But the ending ruined that for me. I cannot bring myself to play through 35 hours of possibly the greatest RPG I've ever played once more, simply because I know what lies at the end, and I do not want to experience it again.
