that would be funny if this was just a part 1 of a 2 part finally.. well maybe not funny but damm it would be a relief. and if that was a the case then hell yea I would play all of my sheps! as of right now, I am emotionally drained and would rather drink a beer and watch some netflix

No. I was actually also taking another Shep through ME2 to import "just the way I wanted her" to ME3, but why bother now? With ME1 or 2? No real point to a replay of any of the games now.

Not anytime soon if at all.
As others have stated, all your decisions were rendered pointless with the endings set up the way it is.
I had at least one Shepard for every class, but I'm not going to bother with them anytime soon for ME3.
This really sucks, the game was awesome until the very end.

What's the point when it all ends the same ?
#81
Posté 10 mars 2012 - 06:26
I had 2 shepards, one paragon one renegade, I won't play my renegade because regardless of whether or not I was renegade the endings are still going to be the same, since they're based off your war assets and nothing else, not to mention the "!6" different endings can be distilled down to 3 and even the differences between the 3 are superficial at best since no explanations or closure is given.
#82
Posté 10 mars 2012 - 06:29
No. I was looking forward to playing my renegade after completion. Lost all motivation to do so when I found out I'd just be raising her for slaughter.

I tried to start my 2nd playthrough but it was just too painful.

No I probably won't be playing it again if the endings aren't fixed. What's the point? The endings just make the rest of the game feel like a cruel joke.
#86
Posté 10 mars 2012 - 08:46
Nope. I will probably replay my main guy down the road in a few years. But I won't be playing 4 different playthroughs like I did in 2. No reason, all ends the same in the end, why bother.
#87
Posté 10 mars 2012 - 08:49
No reason to, the endings are the same. Taking a different path to them accomplishes very little. Sure some of the missions and interactions are different along the way but the fact it all shoehorns into the same finish regardless sort of renders it moot for me personally.

I have five other Shepards ready to import but I am sad to say, probably not. At least not for a long time. Like so many others here, the point in doing so seems lost.

I can't even bring myself to complete one playthrough much more another.
#90
Posté 10 mars 2012 - 08:53
I just can't bring myself to do it, knowing that my entire playthrough will be completely opposite and full of different decisions and conversations, but at the end I'll be presented with the exact same three buttons to push to choose one of three exactly the same terrible endings with no epilogue or closure.

I can say most of us here, replay the game because its like watching a good movie, for example I watched Lord of the Rings more 20 times, all movies counted....So was same for ME2 great story and fun... I have played ME1 twice with my paragon shepard male and then ME2 I used genesis (xbox) to make three newer shepards....and see all my shepard face death while normandy flying off randomly at the end seriously whats is meaning of this...what happens to fleets

Yea I think the general feeling throughout the community is one of betrayal. When about 95% of the BSN agrees something is bad that's a pretty good indicator it might actually be bad. Usually the BSN can't agree on even the simplest issues but the overwhelming majority of posts are expressing great disappointment.
In answer to your original question I cannot see myself playing through the game again. What's worse is that after seeing these ****** poor excuses for endings I'm not inclined to replay the other games either.

No. I had several characters levelled through ME2 with different story choices (8 to be exact), after Kara however, I have no desire to suffer through ME3 again. I can honestly say the 'multiplayer' ended up being what I spent the most time on. It was fun, simple, my actions actually mattered (For the length of that match).

I have 13 shepards and everyone will die in the end. Or their LI will die. And mass realys will be destroyed no matter what.
So, what the point?
I just watch on youtube my favorite moments.

Honestly, I really do want to play through again, it was a really great game. Its just the fact that no matter what I did do and what I will do will matter in the end. I still have to pick the a light show and the light show will still be exactly the same as if I had picked it on my other character.

No. Why bother. All the fun of doing different things and seeing how they interacted in relation to the story is gone. The entire first playthrough I was looking forward to doing several more and then I hit the ending wall and any point of replay-ability was stolen.

I don't know. I started playing another Shep because I wanted to get my EMS up on my main so I had to wait for folks to get on so I could play MP, but now that I've beaten the game with my main, I'm having mixed feelings.
Right now, I'm unsure if I want to do another playthrough. If I do, I'll probably stop short of the ending, because I'm really not down with the absurd 3 choice deal.

Yes, I started my second play-through tonight. But I had to wait 2 days, vent a little. I reminded myself that I had so much fun (and heartache) until the ending. You can recapture some of that.

I'm not sure why I should bother. Nothing I do will matter.
Which is funny, since before the ending I had at least three more playthrough's planned.
