I have a save with only Miranda, Jacob and Morinth alive. I could use it and avoid all despair.

I'll wait and see what Bioware does with these endings maybe we'll a Broken Steel type deal or something that adds more not core game ending by afterwards... Right now the endings are just a disjointed and rough mess that make no sense and have no closer at all.. They tried to a Gainix/Reset Button ending and fumbled the ball... badly.

Eventually, yes. When it doesn't feel like my heart's getting ripped out of my chest anymore whenever I think about the endings and how pointless my choices are. Or if by some sort of miracle we get a bit more closure and/or an alternate ending.

Right now? I just can't.

I'm really struggling with this one. Unlike the previous two games, this is the first time in the series where I don't feel the need to immediately start a new play-through. Those idiotic endings really took the wind out of my sails for this series.

Ultimately, I think I'll do at least 1 more play-through on my main femshep, but seeing how as my choices don't really matter anymore, I wonder if I'll even finish it. We'll see.

pretty much this..

i guess i'll finish another one in some time, but just to see how my choices affect the game. don't think i'll ever even come close to the ending. because: what's the goddamn point. 17 different endings my ass.

I started a new playthrough last night, but I really wasn't enjoying it that much. Everything feels sort of empty and pointless once you know about the endings. Walking around the citadel thinking "not really any point in helping you, you're all dead anyway."

Never. All decisions from all three games have no impact in the end and thus no sense.

I'm done with my canon MaleShep. I'm now running through my Garrusmancing Femshep. After that, well, I'll see......

To me, that is the biggest shame of the endings. In ME2, if things went badly at the end, you wanted to go back and do it all over again to get the 'perfect' play through.

The ending just makes it feel like the entire series is meant for a ruthless Shepard who has no friends, or attachments, and no visions of hope. Because in the end, you know Shepard is still going to flip a switch that gives the same results as if the reapers had won.

Pretty much this. I personaly would also like a dlc for mass effect 2 romances if we get an endings change (though dlc or patch).

I just can't play through again, knowing what lies at the end. Which is a tragedy, because the journey there, the other 99.5% of the game, was so incredible.

This sums up everything I'm feeling, still just an hour after beating the game.

I'm so... confused. Torn. If there's an option to play the game through and just skip the ending and pretend something else happened, I may do that.

Hell, at this point, I may actually write fanfiction just to give my Shepard's story its worthy ending.

I'll play up until the end with my other Shepards, but I don't know if I'll actually go through the trauma of finishing the game again.

I will not, I tried to do a second one with my FemShep, because I wanted her to talk to Garrus again, I didn't get past Mars, I didn't have the heart to do it again

I liked the game but it's difficult to put myself into another playthrough now after watching Shepard's heart break after talking to Garrus and sacrificing herself for synthesis. The game is stupidly grim and not thought provoking at all.

Yeah. Same here - well, probably.
Right now I'm still kinda wishing I had cancelled my preorder when I first heard about the whole matter. :crying:

No. Not replaying any of the three games until a proper ending arrives. If it doesn't, then I'm done with Mass Effect. What a shame.

Myself, I'm doing another ME2 -> ME3 run through.  While yes, for the most part, the ultimate ending cutscenes are the same, there is a lot leading into them and the story as a whole.

But I replay games even when I mostly do the same choices [more so with the ME franchise as too much of the Renegade options fall into specieism and I have a hard time really falling in line with those].

Exactly my feelings.
It would be interesting to get game statistic and see, how much playthroughs people make.
If i remember correctly, bioware published their stats from me2.

I'm continuing to fiddle around with multiplayer and the like, but a complete playthrough? I doubt it...not anytime soon anyway.

I enjoyed the game. I'm glad I played it. But the lack of real differences in the endings and the irrelevance of most of the decisions makes a full playthrough just seem so pointless.

**** no. I had at least 12 different Shepard saves at LEAST in preparation for ME3, I played through ONE Shepard and I now have no desire to EVER touch my Mass Effect games AGAIN.

I MIGHT run through with my Tali romance Shepard, but only far enough to see the romance subplot completed. But run it all the way through? Not unless they change the endings.

What about you guys? Any brave souls diving right back in, knowing what lies ahead?

Yes,  I do intend to play ME 3 many times. However, I will try different paths and such.  I think I will take it easy for a few weeks though or so, and I might have to wait until summer cause exams are coming up.
