When I attempt to post in the Technical Support Forums, I am told that I do not have rights, to either start a new topic, or to reply to an existing one.

What have I done wront?  do they wish us just to 'Call' in?  is that the way that they are doing support now?

sigh.

so sad, I was really wanting to play this game this weekend. :-(

You need to register the game via forum profile. Just one simply click is all it takes...If you've activated the game through Origin.

If the ME3 icon doesn't appear under your avatar then you've not registered.

That is assuming they can even get past the registration part of origin first, which is a very iffy problem for a lot of people. Can't get that done, then can't unlock tech forums.

BioWare's second derp moment, lately.

Bah, this doesn't help those that 'rented' the game from GameFly... I guess I could appeal to 'their' tech support... I suppose that if enough of us bothered them they'd have to start calculating in the 'support' cost for renting these games right? They'd just pass it back to us users, or perhaps buy less of the games that they anticipate heavy support tickets on...

I actually hit the 'keep' button, so my box (and code etc. ) is on it's way from Game Fly... only reason I didn't buy it 'day one' is that I want to buy it on Steam when ever it is inevitably released there... just figured, I'd do a 'rental' play through on the Xbox.

Too bad that means that 'renters' are locked out of the support Forums.... I find that kind of 'lame' but ya, forcing Game Fly to support the game is definitely the 'prerogative' of Bioware I suppose... just smacks of more lameness though, I'm outta here .. gonna go 'play' something before I pop.

what happened to the Kindly BioWare of days of yor...? Freaking Successful game companies. :-P

I'm off to pester Game Fly, and explain that they will have to post my request in the BioWare Forums for me... so freaking convoluted. I just want to play from an Imported toon from ME1 and ME2... I feel that my 200+ hours of progress is going to be wasted. sigh.

Arn't all BW's games like that? I know I couldn't post in certain DA2, DAO or ME2 untill I registered the games.
