Actually, I must say, in my head, this is where things go. This is making my new playthrough bearable. As soon as I make it to the conduit, I'm alt-f4'ing out and play this in my head...

Seriously Bioware, do something like this. Your game was great but your ending was bad. This would fix it

Or they could use the original endings...

Would you mind if I made a fanfic using your ending here? I'd give you credit for the original idea, of course, but something needs to be done. This seems like a satisfactory ending, like you're proposing this a dev, but we need someone to write it. Obviously, it wouldn't be something I could do for all different Shephards, but at least the idea would be out.

good ending but that doesn't end Shepard's story.

Depends on your definition of "Ending Shepard's Story". For some, that means death. For other it means "They live happily ever after."

As I prefer my entertainment to have the more "happy" endings, this is why I wrote the script. However, I don't expect everyone to agree. Some people like sad endings. In all honesty it would have been easy for Bioware to please everyone with the endings, for whatever reason they dropped the ball.

Be my guest! All I ask is you send me a link to whatever you write so I can read your work.

good job, like it :)

I am still trying to uderstand why i dont like the endings
Sooo many reviews 10/10 and first time ever i completely disagree. This game is not the best mass effect game ever made

The ending is like matrix 3 ending, but in mass effect 3 there was no final battle. Maybe thats why.

I really would like to speak with someone who played me1 me 2 me 3 and like the endng  to compere opinions

sounds like a good idea, but I don't think Anderson would want to control the Reapers; he'd just want to kill them after watching Earth be destroyed up-close (he was there for the entire invasion/destruction of Earth... and he saw a lot of his allies die)

good ideas tho

Its a start but some things in there would not work. I would be happy with a Suicide Mission type ending sequence like what you described though.

Perfect, except for Anderson's recommendations based on whether or not he was nominated. Make's him seem like a teenage girl, but otherwise, perfect.

My god, we should've just wrote the stories for our own games... That's what we thought we were doing!<_<

Maybe we can get this formated, editted, and perhaps submitted to Bioware. I can do the first two but...if I knew how to get into Bioware this wouldn't be necessary.

If not, maybe we can stop the destructive path of our games storylines for the future.:wizard:

Not bad, OP. Not bad at all. The increased role of Harbinger and TIM's own, ahem, additions to the ending choices are nice touches, as is the idea that your available options depend on alignment.

I would question, however, the immediate set-up to 'and we'll have ME3 again and again with the next Reaper invasions.' While the Reapers being in other galaxies is a good thing to consider, simply repeating the same plot cycle of 'imminent galactic invasion' doesn't quite give a conclusion to the story.

If the Reapers motivations were something so that they would consider our galaxy a write-off regardless, then you could still have extra-galactic Reapers while a conclusion for our galaxy.

Great

Now just get the animators, voice actors, cinematography engineers, art directors....etc, you get the point

make a DLC...a FREE DLC....patch it out...and your name will go down in history.

This I think is the biggest problem.  I don't think the Mass Effect team would mind so much, but how hard is it to change the ending?  Also, the biggest thing for them I'd guess is budget.  Having to hire that group again to redo the ending seems pricey.  I don't think they lack the funds, but it's coming out of someone's pocket.  Could be ours if it's a purchasable DLC.

I'd probably pay but feel cheated because they should have made all kinds of endings for all of the crowd.  I'd love to see this happen, as do a lot of ME fans.  I'm just wondering how realistic it is.  I don't know.

As far as the Reapers go, the other thing I have in mind is the Reapers are coming again, but when? Reapers wait 50,000 years between cycles. What's another 100-1,000 years? Given that timeframe, a writer for a different ME game could outright ignore the Reapers and do something else.

Anyway, that was the idea I had in mind when I wrote the script. However, my main purpose was really catharsis. I felt better after writing it, and was able to go play other games. I'm mainly just hanging out on BSN now waiting on Bioware's next move, now.
