I just finished my ME3 playthrough, super great game and all(until the end, I was a little dissapointed). I did happen to notice when you and anderson are chatting it up with the illusive man that the last two moral based dialog options are locked. I've had my paragon sitting at the top for quite sometime before even going the cerberus base, I really don't see how I missed those dialog options, I did everything there is to do in the game.

After being placed back before my assualt on cerberus, I had seen that my morality bar looked like it was a bit off. I thought it was a bit absurd. I had the bar point positioned at the "top" since around 5000 military strength, which now it's a total of 7,000. Any of you have any theories on this?

I heard somewhere that you must complete an import of that Mass effect 3 character again to get something alternative. I never saw that as something solid but, I am starting to think that it really does contribute to something.

Thoughts?

If you had a high enough reputation score to use the paragon option on the Illusive Man during the conversations on Mars, Thessia, and the Cerberus HQ, as well as a high enough score to use the three paragon options during the final confronation, you can choose that one final option which convinces him to shoot himself.

I think you have to choose the paragon/renegade option everytime you meet him through the game to unlock it at the end.

I did. This is the first time I had ever been locked out of a dialog choice in ME3. (just realized I said "first time I ever I ever")

it might be based on overall reputation, not strictly paragon points. paragon/renegade indicates alignment, reputation kind of buffs them up somehow.

I had the highest rep as well. Like I said, every single side quest was finished and all systems: dried up of all collectable resorces and assets.
