[MAJOR SPOILERS INCOMING]

Okay, so Shepard is dead. The Normandy is destroyed; the crew is stranded. Then the credits roll. A short movie plays...

...and then Shepard is suddenly back on the Normandy, alive and well? How does this make any sense whatsoever? If they planned to kill of Shepard off, they may as well make the ending permanent. No chance to continue playing after the ending, like ME1. As it stands now, it's rather strange, and really pulls you out of the moment; completely ruins that immersive feeling and sense of finality to what just happened. I don't even mind if Shepard is dead. In a way, it makes sense. I'm not thrilled about it, but it seems fitting. The crew being stranded... eh, could go either way on that one. But why oh why can I still play if Shepard is dead and the Normandy gone? It's really the only thing that I didn't like about the ending. As I was watching everything unfold, it was like, "Wow... I can't believe it, that's it. The reapers are defeated, and Shepard is gone." And then bam, I'm back on the Normandy. Not a scratch on me, or it.

Very odd, jarring way to "end" the game.

well at the end the little kid says to his father" tell me another story about Shepard" and the father says "Ok one more story" So now you can go and do DLC it's all part of shepards story.

Technically, it didn't resurrect you. It reloaded you back before you hit Cerberus HQ.

Seriously, it's like OP hasn't played a Bioware game in the last 3-4 years.

I suppose this makes the most sense, I hadn't thought of it that way. Thank you for the respectful reply.

I know you aren't *literally* resurrected. I'm just saying it sticks out like a sore thumb when you watch that ending and then suddenly it's like none of it ever happened. Again, I know that isn't actually the case, it's just somewhat jarring going from the idea that Shep is dead and then being back aboard the Normandy.
