This is one of my biggest issues with the ending. And I've broughten it up in other threads, but no one has commented.

Everyone knows that for some reason squad members that should have been blown up at your side from Harbringer's laser can show up during the final cut scene in the game.

I'm curious to see if anyone cared to turn around during that running seuqence to actually see if your squad was with you.

I didn't really check during the running sequence, but after my Shepard got up, I limped her around the battlefield to check for their bodies. There were only randoms. There was no Kaidan or Garrus anywhere. I think from the point Shep got knocked unconscious when running to the beam, the rest of the ending is an elaborate nightmare.

I really want to see if they were running with me...it would be interesting if the shuttle just took off after dropping Shepard off.

Someone told me they were laying there dead, but I don't know if that's true.

It wasn't true in my game. Even with the annoyingly slow shuffle of my injured Shep, I still made her check every body before walking to the beam. I needed to know...

That's not true because Javik was with me while running to the beam and he also got out of the shuttle at the end.

I saw someone who I'm pretty sure was Kaidan laying in a pool of blood when Shep was going towards the beam in my game. My Shep had romanced him, so I was like "Noooooo!"

I didn't see the bodies. I also read online also that you'd see them get shot by the lasers or whatever but this is not true.

We are also wondering if the squadmates coming out of the shuttle at the end is a glitch, since your squadmates who ran down with you would have probably died. Even if they didn't, how did they get back to the Normandy so quickly?

It all depends on your war assets. If you dont have enough, they die, if you have enough, they escape with joker.

 No I won't. Or maybe I will, if I'm really bored. Despite my 5 other Shepards.  It just doesn't matter anymore.

I had mistaken the Asari corpse leaned up against one of the downed vehicles as being Liara (further adding to my overwhelming grief), and wobbled around searching for Garrus. After being rudely interrupted by the trio of husks, didn't get to search any more than that, but according to everyone else they're not there. I might load up an earlier save and see if I can turn around during the mad dash to see if the squad is still in tow. (For science).

You see them dead only if you dont have enough war assets. Otherwise they survive. The real questions are  why do they run away and join the normandy and why does joker fly to the relay?

I had Liara and Kaidan with me and I didn't see them either when Shep was walking toward the conduit. I didn't see Liara in the ending sequence (Joker, Kaidan, and Vega) but still.

yes.

I guess that's why they survived for me then. My war assets were around 6,200.
