The Warden Commander Armor from DLC is a dull solid grey color and has a somewhat soft and blurry texture(mostly only an eye sore during over the shoulder dialogue) when worn by a female elf. Have not tried it on a male.
Is this patchable?
I get pleasure from aesthetically pleasing armor on my main characters.

You're right, It doesn't work for the female elf but it does for the male elf. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

I submitted a help request to Bioware for this. Personally, I paid for this expansion and I want it to work for any character than can wear it. Not only does it look completely hideous on a female elf, if doesn't provide a set bonus for any character.
This is a shoddy product and it should be fixed.

It's also important to note that not a single one of the armor sets bought entirely from the blacksmith of Warden's Keep give you a set bonus either. Also Shale doesn't show up at the end game ceremony either, so the DLC is bugged.

Really, is anyone surprised? Anyone? - Shale
BW keeps dicking us with idiotic bugs that could be ironed out easily..I mean, omitting a vital Tank/damager at the ceremony is a fail.

What? These people are 'qualified' bring a decent product on the market. It's their job, their money they be working for. BW surely **** itself with this crap. Corrupt saves, bugged quests. Hell, the word "Bug" passes my vocabulary more then "Fun" when I play this game.
And it freezes up once and awhile.

Here is my customer support submittal followed by customer support's response:
"Customer 12/21/2009 10:08 AM
Upon purchasing and playing the Warden's Keep DLC, my character is unable to gain any benefits from the Warden Commander Armor found in this DLC. For example, when my female character has the entire set equipped, there is no set bonus. Additionally, the armor itself is visually appalling when on a female elf character, though; it looks as it should on a male human character.
Since I paid for this content, I expect it to be functioning as intended upon payment. What can be done to rectify this problem? Thank you for your time."

All I can say is "Wow." Not only did I pay for a broken product, but customer support has no intention of supporting it. Either that or they are just plain incompetent. That's just swell.

I would tend to agree with the latter.

one thing I've noticed in the texturing is that certain armors don't change color for higher teirs. For example buying platemail from the Weaponsmith doesn't have that red tint when it becomes red steel. Also the Warden Commander's Heavy Plate boots remain the same color as well. It was still purplish blue when it was red steel or any other teir. Mind you this is only for the Warden's Keep DLC, all the other armors from other places work fine.

I've noticed that as well. I submitted a BBB compliant so we'll see where that goes since I'm not getting anything out of the Customer Support site (its been a few weeks) so I've to try something. Cheers.
