So according to what I have found on other sites I should be able to get Daniels and Donnelly once I get to the Citadel and go into the Spectre Office. There's supposed to be an email that you get with their status and you get the option to have them placed on your ship. I don't have that email though...I've checked email on the Normandy also just to cover my bases.
Then I went back into my Mass Effect 2 game to make certain they were still alive and found them both down in engineering. So I'm confused...is there a step I've missed, something I need to do...anyone know? Or have they just been there for everyone who imported a saved game where the crew survived?

Oh well, I went ahead and started another game anyway. The odd thing is I got fortification handed to me this time but didn't last time...so maybe something was missed.
