Though it just occured to me... didn't they probably just crash somewhere on Earth? I mean I don't think they left the Sol system. I think they might be fine, guys.

Well, the citadel popped up out of nowhere, why not a few moons too!

I got this ending too, have no clue what it meant. I was waiting for someone to at least say something like "Where are we?"

They should have a DLC about them setting up camp on the planet. My take...when they were traveling through the mass relay WHILE it was being destroyed it through them out in a different GALAXY. Maybe the realm of the CREATORS. (The beings that created the Reapers). I got this ending and never looked up spoilers, bascally just went nuts and collected all in game war assets from all the side quests.

This is the only part that doesn't make any sense in the story. Why the hell was Normandy running away from the battle? How the hell did Liara & EDI end up with Joker when I picked them to be with me for the final battle?
Was this Shep's doing when he sacrificed himself?

It seems to be partially random who appears at the end. I had Tali and Garrus with me during the final mission, yet it was Liara and EDI who appeared with Joker when they exited the Normandy.

Depends on what ending you get as far as I can tell.

1. I'm guessing since they didn't make it onto the Citadel and you did, they got back on the Normandy to do what they could there.
2. I got this when I accidentally destroyed the power conduit. I was trying to control the Reapers, which I figured was the renegade choice since it was TIM's idea. so I got up there and it wouldn't let me turn around. Buggers!

Only explanation or they got LOST as the poster aboved mentioned. lol
Does this plot hole end up getting explained in a future DLC?
Honestly, though, if there's DLC about the ending, how would it work?
Shep is either dead or near death isolated from anythign and there's no mass relays.
How the hell do you play THAT DLC? Shep's a ghost or has to fight his way around the citadel before he finally bleeds out?
